But now a cultural icon of the radical Left is under investigation for these heinous acts.
Overweight Lizzo is under investigation for fat-shaming her dancers and much more
Lizzo is under investigation after three of her former employees came forward and accused her of sexual harassment and creating a hostile workplace. The backup dancers filed a lawsuit on the first of the month over allegations that Lizzo humiliated them and pressured them to act in a sexual manner.
The three claim Lizzo pushed one of them to get physical with a nude performer at a club in Amsterdam and also put them through what they described as an “excruciating” audition after she threatened them for drinking on the job.
But one of the most incredible parts of the story is that Lizzo fat-shamed one of the dancers for gaining weight. For context, Lizzo is overweight and is famously known for celebrating her size and encouraging the world to join her in body positivity.
Attorney: What Lizzo did was “not only illegal – but absolutely demoralizing”
The plaintiffs filed their lawsuit in the Los Angeles Superior Court. The lawsuit claims Lizzo attacked one of the dancers for gaining weight after a performance at South by Southwest Music Festival. They said Lizzo and a member of the staff called Arianna Davis “less committed” because of her appearance.
“The stunning nature of how Lizzo and her management team treated their performers seems to go against everything Lizzo stands for publicly, while privately she weight-shames her dancers and demeans them in ways that are not only illegal but absolutely demoralizing,” their attorney wrote in a statement.
The suit also alleges that Lizzo and her team regularly entertained conversations about the sexual history of dancers, their sexual fantasies, and simulating sex acts. One of the elements of the suit described a visit to a club in Amsterdam where they witnessed heinous acts.
Cast members were pressured to participate in lewd sexual acts with performers at a club
The defendants claim that the trip to the Bananenbar in Amsterdam made them particularly uncomfortable. They said they felt forced to endure it because the singer gave dancers who attended the parties more opportunities and better job security.
At Bananenbar, they claim Lizzo was “inviting cast members to take turns touching the nude performers, catching dildos launched from the performers’ vaginas, and eating bananas protruding from the performers’ vaginas.” Davis claims she was one of the cast members pressured by Lizzo.
According to the plaintiffs, Lizzo gave extra attention to Davis at the club and was “pressuring Ms. Davis to touch the breasts of one of the nude women.” She refused to participate, but was faced with chants that “grew louder and more strident, demanding a visibly uncomfortable” Davis to oblige.
During the MeToo Movement, leftists were all in favor of believing every victim’s story.
But now that it’s one of their own, no one on the Left is speaking up for the victims.
