With their media allies more on board with pushing their talking points and destroying their opponents than ever before, Democrats are taking full advantage of it.

Self-proclaimed “journalists” have given the ruling class carte blanche to gaslight the American people by holding up self-evident falsehoods as “truths.”

And a Democrat Congressman threw a hissy fit when Bret Baier hit him with this brutal Kamala Harris fact-check.

Trump flipped the script

Immediately after Vice President Kamala Harris replaced Joe Biden as the presumptive Presidential nominee, her campaign and left-wing activists in the media began repeating the same talking point that claimed former President Donald Trump was “afraid” to debate her.

They continued to push that claim for weeks, despite knowing full well that the two sides were in the midst of negotiations to set a debate schedule.

But during a press conference at Mar-a-Lago last week, former President Donald Trump flipped the script and announced that he had agreed to three debates and was waiting on Kamala’s acceptance.

Like clockwork, all the talk about Trump being “afraid” quickly vanished.

The last thing Democrats wanted was for Kamala to participate in all three debates due to a fear that she would expose the charade that is her candidacy.

But one Democrat apparently didn’t get the memo.

And that Democrat is Dan Goldman (D-NY).

During a recent interview with Fox News Channel’s Bret Baier, Goldman repeated the Democrats’ “Trump is afraid to debate” talking point as if he hadn’t agreed to a debate.

“If I’m Donald Trump, I understand why he doesn’t want to debate,” Goldman told Baier.

But the longtime Fox News anchor was quick to make a total fool out of Goldman.

“Well, he’s accepted three,” Baier shot back. “He’s said yes to September 4, September 10, September 17. He’s said yes to a lot of them, so it’s not that he’s obviously afraid to debate.”

Goldman flew off the handle and claimed that Trump had only agreed to the September 10 debate even though it was actually Kamala who had only agreed to one debate at that point.

“No, no, no,” Goldman stammered. “No, no, no, he had agreed to September 10 on ABC.”

Baier corrected the record and said Trump had only agreed to that one debate when Biden was the candidate.

This caused Goldman to come unglued once again.

“What’s the difference?” Goldman fumed. “Why should he not debate whoever the candidate is on September 10 as he agreed to, what is the difference between candidate Biden and candidate Harris?”

That’s when Baier had to inform the Democrat Congressman that Trump had also already agreed to take part in that September 10 ABC debate with Kamala Harris.

“No, no, it’s fine – he said he would do it,” Baier explained. “I’m just saying he’s also agreed to other debates. You said he hasn’t agreed to others, he has. It’s the Kamala Harris campaign that hasn’t agreed on the other side.”

Not long after that debacle went viral and millions of Americans had a good laugh at Goldman’s detachment from reality, Kamala’s campaign apparently figured out that voters were starting to get rather frustrated by their candidate’s total unwillingness to speak to the media or agree to debates.

As a result, Kamala’s campaign announced that she would be willing to agree to a supposed second debate at some point in October in addition to the September 10 debate.

In doing so, they declared the “debate over debates is over.”

Democrats are obviously petrified at how Kamala will perform.

After all, debates are what tanked her failed 2020 Presidential campaign before a single vote was cast.

They want to be able to make up some excuse about Trump being unwilling to agree to their terms in order to get out of doing more than one debate.

They know if Kamala can’t perform well in a debate, voters won’t buy into the media-manufactured hype train they hope will carry her to victory.

At some point, Kamala Harris is going to have to speak to voters without the assistance of a teleprompter.

And that may very well be when the wheels fall off her campaign.
