A former pop star is speaking out about the horrors she experienced in her youth

America’s entertainment industry is morally bankrupt.

But it’s not just the consumers of the entertainment who are impacted by it.

And now a former pop star is speaking out about the horrors she experienced in her youth.

Kaya Jones, a former singer for The Pussycat Dolls, joined Students for Life’s Speak Out podcast with host Christine Yeargin and shared her personal experience with abortion.

Jones, who has since turned her life around and now follows Christ, had three abortions when she was younger.

A lifetime of regret

Her first abortion was as a teenager when her birth control failed.

Her second was as a singer and she was told to “get rid of it.”

She described the music industry as abusive, which left her with low self esteem and it led her to make poor life choices.

She said that after getting her first abortion, getting more seemed easier at the time.

“After the first one, you don’t think you’ve done anything wrong. It’s been normalized and what is a line until you’ve crossed it. You don’t know what a line is. Once you cross that line, it’s a very slippery slope to continue to cross those lines,” she said.

She recalled a moment at a concert when two young girls were looking up at her and her conscience took hold, and she felt the weight of her past decisions.

“Nothing on me in that moment said, ‘Caution, this is a lie,'” she said. “There was nothing beautiful about me. I was tainted. I was destructive. I was destroyed. I was completely enchained and bonded to the devil, or the enemy, or the realm of death if you will, where I was living in my worst self.”

Jones warned other women not to make the same decisions she did, that they will regret it all their life.

“It is very painful. There is a lot of anger. There’s a lot of frustration. There’s a lot of lack of knowledge. There’s a lot of regret. And nothing can make that go away but God himself when you lay it at his feet and ask for salvation,” she said.

Countering the pro-abortion narrative

Hearing from women like Kaya Jones about their horrific experiences is an important part of dispelling the pro-abortion narrative.

Radical abortion proponents have spent decades lying about abortion in order to normalize it.

They have steadily gotten worse over time.

They used to say that they wanted abortion to be “safe, legal, and rare.”

Now they celebrate it as a sacrament of their death cult.

They even started a despicable movement to “shout your abortion.”

For all they claim about being for “choice,” they ignore the reality that many abortions are coerced and work to shut down crisis pregnancy centers that provide alternatives to abortion.

They claim that very few women regret their abortions, but cases like Kaya Jones prove otherwise.

Now that Roe v. Wade has ended and states can pass laws that protect unborn babies, exposing the abortion industry’s lies is more important than ever.
