Leftists always claim to support free speech.
But officials at colleges and universities are woke and they are clamping down on free speech.
And a judge just slammed this California college for censoring conservatives.

When we think of the worst dictators in history, everyone thinks Hitler.
He killed over six million Jews during the Holocaust.
But people forget Stalin was worse.
Historians believe he killed over 30 million of his own citizens.
But his totals were amateur when compared to the leader of the Chinese Communists, Chairman Mao.
It is estimated that he is responsible for the deaths of over 80 million of his countrymen.
These are inconvenient truths for leftists.
And according to administrators at this California college, historical facts are to be censored.
“Inappropriate” or “Insensitive”
Clovis Community College had a policy prohibiting the public display of posters that it deems to be inappropriate or insensitive.
Of course, this could apply to anything, but administrators specifically used it to shut down speech they didn’t agree with.
Thankfully, a federal judge agreed the policy was too vague.
The Epoch Times reported that “U.S. District Judge Jennifer Thurston found that the poster policy of Fresno-based Clovis Community College violated the students’ First Amendment and 14th Amendment rights.”
It turns out that administrators at the college were using the vague policy to remove posters promoted by a group of conservatives.
The judge’s ruling forbids the college “from enforcing, by policy or practice, any unlawful viewpoint—discriminatory, overbroad, or vague regulation, or prior restraint, on the content of the speech of recognized student clubs, including but not limited to bans on ‘inappropriate’ or ‘offensive’ language.”
The students also received $250,000 for their legal expenses and $20,000 for the local chapter of the group Young Americans for Freedom.
The university also ordered the school administrators to take training on the First Amendment.
The Authorities Objected to Information About Authoritarianism
In 2021, the students decided they wanted to inform their fellow students about the dangers of authoritarian regimes in history.
The students followed the rules to get permission to hang the posters in the official area.
The posters contained historically verifiable information with the assertion that this was the danger of “the blind arrogance of the Left.”
Permission was originally granted before it was yanked.
The group was also blocked from putting pro-life posters in the official locations.
When the university acted to block the posters, the students sued and were granted an injunction, which prohibited the university from enforcing its policies.
Instead of realizing it was pushing a losing proposition, the university continued to fight and racked up huge taxpayer funded legal bills on each side.
The university appealed to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and lost again.
The judge’s ruling applies to all three campuses of the Clovis College system.
The students won an important victory for free speech on college campuses.
The administrators truly showed that the blind arrogance of the Left is dangerous to liberty.
