Democrat hypocrisy is nothing new.
“Do as I say, not as I do” might as well be the Democrat Party’s official slogan.
And now a Washington Post columnist just pointed out one glaring hypocrisy in Joe Biden’s excuse for raiding Donald Trump.
Democrat hypocrisy was on full display during the pandemic for all of America to see.
Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and dozens of other Democrat politicians were caught on multiple occasions violating the very pandemic rules and restrictions they voted to impose on everyone else.
When Californians were locked down under strict pandemic rules, a maskless Nancy Pelosi was caught visiting a salon to get a haircut.
When New Yorkers were forced to live under mask and vaccine mandates, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez traveled down to enjoy Ron DeSantis’ “oasis of freedom,” where masks and vaccine mandates were banned.
The hypocrisy that runs rampant in the Democrat Party also became clear in the way the Black Lives Matter riots during the Summer of 2020 were labeled as “peaceful protests.”
Biden weaponizes federal agencies
And today Democrat hypocrisy can be seen in Joe Biden’s weaponization of the FBI to take down Donald Trump.
Merrick Garland recently authorized 30 armed FBI agents to storm Donald Trump’s private residence in Mar-a-Lago allegedly over documents he kept from his time in office that belong with the National Archives.
Even though the Department of Justice and the FBI are still refusing to come clean on the full details of the raid, Democrat hypocrisy was on full display when Merrick Garland justified the raid in an address to the public.
“Upholding the rule of law means applying the law evenly, without fear or favor,” Garland said. “Under my watch, that is precisely what the Justice Department is doing,” he continued. “All Americans are entitled to the evenhanded application of the law, to due process of the law, and to the presumption of innocence.”
Washington Post columnist calls out Joe Biden
In an op-ed published Tuesday in The Washington Post, columnist Henry Olsen called out Joe Biden and the Democrats for not following the rules they claim to support and also enforce on everyone else.
“We’ve been hearing a lot about the ‘rule of law’ lately,” Olsen began.
Olsen then pointed to Biden’s refusal to enforce immigration law as a prime example of him not following the rules he claims to support.
“Biden’s look-the-other-way immigration policy is in effect an ingenious way to avoid that rule,” Olsen continued, before pointing out how “that mocks the principle he piously says he supports.”
The facts back up Olsen’s claim.
“In December, the Supreme Court will hear arguments that Biden and his deputies are willfully ignoring their obligation to detain job-seeking border crossers,” Breitbart News reported. “The laws include 8 U.S.C. §§ 1226(c)(1), 1231(a)(2), and 1231(a)(1)(A), which say the attorney general ‘shall take into custody,’ ‘shall detain,’ and ‘shall remove’ migrants.”
Joe Biden also ignored the rule of law with his moratorium on evictions during the pandemic, which the Supreme Court intervened and struck down.
Joe Biden and the Democrats don’t care about the rule of law.
They only care about political power.
And they’re more than willing to do whatever it takes to seize more power and more control over the American people in their push to turn our country into a socialist nation.
