It’s become clear in recent years that Disney is not what it used to be.
Disney has placed a premium on far-Left politics and raised the ire of half the country.
But now a whistleblower just blew the lid on Disney’s persecution of conservative employees.
A Disney whistleblower claims that the company went to ridiculous lengths to ensure compliance with a radical ideology.
Diaries for diversity?
According to the source, employees were required to keep Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Virtue diaries that determined if they would receive promotions, raises, or even keep their jobs.
It was also claimed that Disney regularly persecuted conservative employees.
“It is now our understanding that at Disney since the summer of 2020, many employees of the company have been required to maintain their various virtuous actions within diversity, equity, and inclusion,” the unnamed source said. “And that that diary of their ‘good deeds’ was part of maintaining their job security, but not only that, but in fact it was also tied to their job compensation if you can believe it.”
It was further claimed that if an employee were to convey political opinions on social media that did not align with left-wing views, then serious conversations and discussions with HR would be forthcoming.
A system to get rid of all opposing points of view
The whistleblower detailed how any “wrongthink” was eliminated.
“So if you went beyond not just filling out your Word doc where you had DEI requirements noted for your MBO document, let’s say, but instead you were actually on social media saying that you supported some sort of conservative value, you were going to be brought into HR,” the whistleblower said. “And in doing this the Walt Disney Company seems to have eliminated the vast majority of their conservative employees and have turned the company into a monolithic kind of state where everyone there is either far to the Left on the spectrum or they are a moderate or conservative in hiding.”
As proof, the whistleblower shared a document from Disney Ad Sales showing that one of the Management by Objectives (MBOs) is “Champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.”
As a result of Disney’s drastic drift to the Left, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has made pushing back against the company’s excesses a personal crusade.
During his campaign kickoff event in Iowa, DeSantis said that “people told me, ‘if Disney weighs in, you better watch out – they’re going to steamroll you.’ Well, here I stand. I’m not backing down one inch. We run the state of Florida. They do not run the state of Florida.”
