Adam Schiff was rendered speechless after this CNN talking head called him a liar to his face

It’s no secret that Democrats despise being questioned or held accountable by anyone.

That’s why the same Democrat politicians just happen to keep being interviewed by the exact same left-wing talking heads on the exact same outlets time and again.

But Adam Schiff was rendered speechless after this CNN talking head called him a liar to his face.

CNN’s tiff with Schiff

Democrats and their lapdog media allies have spent almost three months now attempting to convince the American people that new Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) had crossed a major line in the sand when he chose to boot Reps. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Eric Swalwell (D-CA) from the House Intelligence Committee.

Of course, Speaker McCarthy was merely following the standard previously set by former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who previously stripped multiple Republicans of ALL their committee assignments for political reasons.

Meanwhile, Reps. Schiff and Swalwell were removed from the Intel Committee for fabricating “classified information” to prove the “Russian collusion” hoax and having a sexual affair with a Communist Chinese spy, respectively.

No matter how you slice it, Members of Congress who have behaved like Schiff and Swalwell do not belong on the Intel Committee, handling America’s most closely guarded and sensitive national security information.

Nevertheless, like any good Democrat, Rep. Schiff isn’t one to let a good crisis go to waste, though, as he’s sought to use all of the attention he’s receiving for lying to the American people as a springboard to launch a campaign for the U.S. Senate.

But Schiff was caught completely off-guard when he hopped on CNN to explain away his lies and was met with a significant amount of pushback – well, significant for CNN, at least.

CNN State of the Union’s Dana Bash confronted the embattled California Congressman over the fact that he claimed there was “direct evidence” Trump colluded with Russia even though no such evidence exists.

“You said that there was direct evidence of the fact that Donald Trump colluded with Russia back in 2016. Special counsel Robert Mueller said in his report — quote — ‘The investigation did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government,’” Bash said. “Republicans argue that’s proof that you used your position on the Intelligence Committee to intentionally mislead Americans, which is why you should not be on that Committee.”

If a Democrat says it, it must be true!

But rather than provide any sort of evidence to back up his own claims, Rep. Schiff merely claimed that the direct quote Bash read from the Special Counsel’s report – which again, clearly stated there was no evidence of collusion – didn’t say what she said it did.

Instead, Schiff wants the American people to believe that an associate of Trump, advisor Paul Manafort, allegedly calling a “Russian agent” – aka a Ukrainian political consultant – is somehow all the evidence that’s needed to “prove” collusion, even though that’s a claim that’s only been asserted by the Treasury Department, not the Special Counsel, FBI, or Department of Justice who were actually investigating the matter.

“To most Americans, that is collusion,” Schiff claimed. “Now, whether it’s proof beyond a reasonable doubt of the crime of conspiracy — that’s what Bob Mueller was talking about — I have always distinguished between the two.”

Put simply, Rep. Schiff is now claiming that when he said there was “direct evidence” of Trump colluding with Russia, he never meant it was actual evidence that proved the collusion – an excuse no one with a functioning brain can possibly take seriously.

For some reason, though – just kidding, it’s totally because it’s CNN – Bash didn’t exactly pushback on the Congressman’s excuse.

She did, however, confront him with another of his many lies – his claim that he and other Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee pushing the Ukrainian impeachment hoax against Trump had “never spoken with” a supposed “whistleblower” prior to them coming forward against the former President.

But again, Schiff simply pulled out the lamest excuse possible.

“When I was asked the question, I thought they were referring to whether we had brought the whistle-blower in,” the Democrat claimed. “And I should have been more clear in my answer.”

Nothing to see here, folks.

Adam Schiff was simply under the impression that when he was asked whether he or any other Democrat on the Committee had ever spoken with a whistleblower prior to them coming forward that he was only being asked whether they spoke in one specific meeting.

The idea that a whistleblower would come forward, but no one would speak to them prior to Democrats making all sorts of assertions about what they were alleging, is insanity.

Best case scenario, Rep. Schiff was simply caught off-guard by the fact that he was actually being questioned by someone from CNN, and simply didn’t have any pre-written excuses handy.

Otherwise, those excuses are so out-of-touch with reality, Schiff would have to be declared certifiably insane – there’s simply no other explanation.

But the mere fact that CNN’s Dana Bash was willing to confront Adam Schiff with his lies to his face does give Americans hope that more Democrat lies will be called out in the future.

Just to be safe, it’s probably best not to hold your breath on that one, though.
