Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez immediately regretted picking this fight with Ted Cruz over the Democrat Party’s racist history

Much can be said about New York’s biggest social media enthusiast who also happens to be a Congresswoman.

But having the capacity to feel shame is not on that list.

And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez immediately regretted picking this fight with Ted Cruz over the Democrat Party’s racist history.

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) had to issue a free history lesson to Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) on the racist history of the Democrat Party.

He also took the opportunity to inform Ocasio-Cortez about the racist activities of the Democrat Party.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez just can’t help herself

It all started when “political scientist” Norm Ornstein said Ted Cruz would have been “first in line” to filibuster the Civil Rights Act.

Cruz answered the hack professor by reminding him that it was the Democrat Party who filibustered the Civil Rights Act while Republicans supported it.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez responded to Cruz by asking him “why don’t you go ahead and tell people what happened to the parties after that, Ted?”

It’s better to not ask questions if you don’t want to know the answers

“First, the Dem party founded the KKK,” Cruz replied. “Then the Dem party wrote Jim Crow laws. Then the Dem party filibustered the Civil Rights Act. Today, the Dem party filibusters school choice—trapping millions of Black kids in failing schools. Today, the Dem party pushes abolishing the police, which results in many more Black lives murdered. Today, every Dem senator voted against my bill to stop DC from throwing 40% of Black kids out of schools bc of vax mandate. The Republican Party was founded to oppose slavery. Our first Republican President was Abraham Lincoln, who won the Civil War and ended slavery. It was Republicans who voted for the civil Rights Act in a much higher percentage than racist Dems.”

But Ted Cruz was not done schooling Ocasio-Cortez on the history of the Democrat Party.

“Today, we produced the lowest African-American unemployment EVER, under the Trump economic boom,” he continued. “Today, we produced the lowest African-American poverty levels EVER, under the Trump economic boom. Today, (in 2017) I passed the largest expansion of federal school choice EVER (making 529 plans to cover K-12), over the objection of every single Senate Dem. Also, just two years ago, the Dem governor of Virginia had put the photo of A MAN DRESSED AS A KKK KLANSMAN on his personal yearbook page. And today, the sitting Dem President—Joe Biden—gave in 2011 a flowery eulogy for an ‘Exalted Cyclops’ of the KKK. And to add to all that, the Dem party aggressively supports open borders—which has led to the deaths and brutal assaults of thousands of Hispanics, and @aoc somehow can’t seem to find her White pantsuit to cry over their suffering.”

It was a brutal takedown, and it was obvious that Ocasio-Cortez brought a knife to a gunfight when she decided to do battle with Cruz.

Even Elon Musk evidently grabbed the popcorn and watched the show.

Musk tweeted that this is “the kind of interaction that makes this platform so unique & entertaining!”

Of course, Ocasio-Cortez will likely continue to embarrass herself by engaging with conservatives on social media.
