As the Democrat Party moves further and further to the radical Left, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is quickly becoming the Party’s face.

And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is bringing back her most dangerous legislation – but this time it’s even bigger.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s eye-popping legislative agenda
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made a name for herself by pushing for extreme “green” measures at the expense of the economy and individual freedom.
Ocasio-Cortez’s so-called Green New Deal is an industry-killing, freedom-stealing, goodie bag of handouts to the solar and wind industries.
The five-page bill would kill tens of thousands of good-paying careers and balloon energy prices well beyond the increases American workers have already experienced under President Joe Biden’s watch.
Since first introducing the disastrous plan back in 2019 alongside Democrat Senator Edward Markey of Massachusetts, the radical duo of environmental-extremists have been unable to pass their job-killing legislation.
Ocasio-Cortez and Markey – along with their colleagues and followers – are using the environment as an excuse to control American families.
But now they’re bringing back the Green New Deal – and this time they’ve found a way to make it even more threatening.
Democrats are trying to kill two birds with one stone
According to the Daily Caller, Ocasio-Cortez is letting Ro Khanna (D-CA) introduce the bill as the lead sponsor to keep her radical persona from potentially tainting the proposal.

Markey is still the lead sponsor in the Upper Chamber.
They’re now marketing the bill as the “Green New Deal for Health.”
“It’s time for a whole-of-government, whole-of-health to the urgent crises facing our nation,” Markey tweeted. “And that means, very simply, empowering community health providers, and getting funds to environmental justice communities that have borne the worst burden and need it the most. Strengthening our health so that it’s resilient and facilitating a shift to clean energy so that we won’t exacerbate the disease while we try to treat it.”
If the bill passes, the Washington Post reported that it would provide $100 billion in federal funds to medical facilities that will cut emissions and focus on climate change.
This, of course, comes at a time when American workers are already struggling to make ends meet due to runaway inflation.
The green backup plan
Knowing that the legislation has zero chance of passing in the GOP-controlled House, Ocasio-Cortez has a backup plan.
She introduced an “Implementation Guide” with steps that states, tribes, and local governments can take to utilize funds from Biden’s self-proclaimed Inflation Reduction Act to implement burdensome Green New Deal standards.
Ocasio-Cortez’s guidelines also called for – among other things – the creation of positions that “promote justice and equity.”
