Joe Biden claims he was clueless about Merrick Garland’s decision to authorize the FBI to raid Donald Trump’s private estate.
Many Americans don’t believe him.
Now all hell is breaking loose after a bombshell letter just surfaced about Joe Biden’s involvement in the FBI’s raid on Mar-a-Lago.
It’s been more than two weeks since 30 armed FBI agents raided Donald Trump’s private residence in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, allegedly searching for documents he took from the White House with him that were of national security interest.
But the Biden administration has yet to come clean with the American people on the full details surrounding the raid, such as the full affidavit showing what the FBI was specifically looking for as well as what they took with them from Mar-a-Lago.
Trump accuses the FBI of overreach
The property receipt released following the raid only contained vague descriptions like “Miscellaneous Top Secret Documents” and a “Leather bound box of documents.”
However, Donald Trump is claiming the FBI took way more than they were authorized under the warrant to take.
And Donald Trump filed a motion on Monday to appoint a Special Master and prohibit the FBI from further review of the seized documents until the Special Master is appointed.
The motion also orders the government to release a more detailed property receipt and return any item seized that did not fall under the scope of the search warrant.
“Law enforcement is a shield that protects Americans. It cannot be used as a weapon for political purposes,” Trump’s motion said. “Therefore, we seek judicial assistance in the aftermath of an unprecedented and unnecessary raid on President Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach, Florida.”
Bombshell letter surfaces
Aside from violating the scope of the warrant, Donald Trump also accused Joe Biden of playing a role in the FBI raiding his private home.
“Does ANYBODY really believe that the White House didn’t know about this?” Trump posted on Truth Social. “WITCH HUNT!”
Of course, Joe Biden adamantly refuted Trump’s assertion, telling the American people that he didn’t even know the raid was going to take place until after the fact.
But a letter just surfaced showing the FBI, DOJ, and National Archives were engaged with then-White House Deputy Counsel Jonathan Su in April, shortly after Trump voluntarily returned 15 boxes of materials from his home to the Archives.
By the time May rolled around, the National Archives had been alerted by Su that Biden would “not object to waiving his predecessor’s claims to executive privilege, a decision that opened the door for DOJ to get a grand jury to issue a subpoena compelling Trump to turn over any remaining materials he possessed from his presidency,” Just the News reported.
Another letter from May 10 to Trump’s legal team also confirmed Joe Biden was involved in the Justice Department case against the former President.
There’s a chance Joe Biden did not have any specific knowledge or exact details of the search warrant and the raid on Mar-a-Lago.
But Joe Biden’s White House clearly participated and played a crucial role in the investigation leading to the raid, particularly in waiving executive privilege.
