The saying “go woke, go broke” is truer than anyone imagined.

Anheuser-Busch is the latest company to learn this brutal truth.

But Anheuser-Busch executives are panicking after gay bars across the country joined the Bud Light boycott.

Sometimes you just can’t win.

Now they are bi-boycotts

Bud Light is now facing boycotts from both sides of the political spectrum after their disastrous foray into transgender politics.

First, Bud Light marketing “geniuses” decided to team up with transgender social media influencer and alleged scam artist Dylan Mulvaney.

That decision cost them dearly.

Conservative beer drinkers around the country blasted Bud Light for partnering with Mulvaney and launched a nationwide boycott of the brand that saw sales drop by a shocking 26%.

It turns out that Mulvaney, the transgender TikTok star and creator of the Days of Girlhood series, didn’t sell beer like they hoped he would.

At least not Bud Light.

The stunt did increase sales of Bud Light’s competitors, like Coors Light and Yuengling.

But then Bud’s business busted more

But after a weak and meaningless statement from Anheuser-Busch executives and the firing of the marketing team responsible for the furor, things got worse for the St. Louis brewery.

Gay bars are now boycotting Bud Light for not supporting Mulvaney enough.

By seemingly backing off their original pro-transgender marketing ploy, Bud Light has now offended the LGBTQ community.

This proves you can never appease the radical Left and that you can’t turn your back on your customer base and expect them to remain loyal.

Anheuser-Busch’s every action in this drama was wrong.

Following the brutal backlash by its customers to the transgender partnership, Bud Light CEO Brendan Whitworth issued a bland statement.

“We never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people,” the statement read. “We are in the business of bringing people together over a beer. My time serving this country taught me the importance of accountability and the values upon which America was founded: freedom, hard work and respect for one another.”

Conservatives were not impressed by the statement and continued their boycott of the beer.

But just by trying to explain themselves, Anheuser-Busch has now sparked a fire in the LGBTQ community.

Discontinuing all Anheuser-Busch products

The 2Bears Tavern Group owns four “LGBTQIA+ establishments” in the Chicago area.

The 2Bears Tavern Group’s so-called “values” are “consent is sexy,” “no racism,” “no sexism,” “no ableism,” “no ageism,” “no homophobia,” “no transphobia,” “no size shaming,” and “no hate.”

After Anheuser-Busch’s attempt to walk back the controversy, the LGBTQ group announced that “all 2Bears Tavern Group bars are discontinuing Anheuser-Busch InBev products as a result of the brewer’s anti-transgender actions and statements.”

“In view of Anheuser-Busch InBev’s abandonment of its support of transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney, the subsequent reprehensible and divisive comments by its CEO, 2Bears Tavern Group is discontinuing all Anheuser-Busch InBev products including Busch Light, Bud Light, and Goose Island 312,” the 2Bears Tavern Group said in a statement.

Now Anheuser-Busch is getting hit from both sides.

As one beer industry expert warned, “Anheuser-Busch InBev will never fully recover from this disaster.”

“Go woke, go broke.”
