Ben Stiller used to be one of the biggest names in comedy, but he hasn’t had a hit in nearly a decade.

The actor is now trying to use the 2024 Presidential election to stay relevant.

But Ben Stiller just said something so illogical that Donald Trump Jr. turned him into the butt of the joke.

Celebrities for Kamala Harris

The Hollywood elitists weren’t all that excited about President Joe Biden’s re-election campaign.

Sure, they would spout off at the mouth and spread their Trump Derangement Syndrome mind virus.

Look no further than Robert De Niro as an example.

While De Niro and his cohorts were attacking former President Donald Trump, you may have noticed they weren’t singing Joe Biden’s praises.

However, that all changed the moment Kamala Harris emerged as the nominee after Joe Biden’s departure from the race.

Jeff Bridges and Joseph Gordon Levitt joined “White Duded for Harris” and helped raise $4 million for her campaign.

And then there was “Comics for Kamala,” which was another Zoom fundraiser for the Harris-Walz ticket.

Jason Bateman, Patton Oswalt, Kathy Griffin, Jon Hamm, Kathryn Hahn, Ed Helms, John Stamos, Tom Arnold, Rosie O’Donnell, Craig Robinson, Tim Heidecker, and Nick Offerman all told jokes with the aim of turning out the vote for Kamala Harris.

Ben Stiller was also in virtual attendance and he doubled down on his support for Kamala Harris.

Ben Stiller doesn’t seem to know who the current Vice President is

Stiller was caught in public and asked about his support for the Vice President.

Specifically, the Meet the Parents star was asked what he likes about Kamala’s platform.

As you can see in the video, Stiller isn’t able to name a single item from the Democrat platform that he backs.

Instead, the actors spoke in platitudes about being “excited.”

“Just very excited about moving forward, and all the energy and excitement that’s around this movement right now,” Stiller said. “That’s why I’m here because it’s time for change and it seems like it’s happening.”

Stiller then acknowledged that he believes it’s going to be a close election, but said that “everybody is motivated to make it happen.”

He called Kamala and her running mate, Governor Tim Walz (D-MN), “incredible candidates.”

As soon as social media caught wind of the clip, Stiller began eating his words.

People asked how the Vice President for the last four years can represent “moving forward” and “time for a change?”

After all, wouldn’t electing Donald Trump be the real change?

One of the many to mock Stiller’s words was Donald Trump Jr.

“There will be no change,” Trump Jr. tweeted. “It’s literally the Biden-Harris administration right now. Why didn’t she push for any change for the last 4 years???”

It seems like the media and Kamala’s campaign wants voters to forget that she is currently Joe Biden’s Vice President.
