Just about every American agrees that the nation is in serious trouble on several fronts, including the massive influx of illegal aliens.

However, coming up with a plan to deal with the border seems to be getting more difficult by the day.

And Bill O’Reilly shot down Donald Trump’s plan to deal with illegal aliens in a major way.

O’Reilly: Trump’s plan is “impossible”

Former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly never holds back when it comes to saying what’s on his mind.

The author and talking head recently joined former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo on his show to discuss politics.

Donald Trump has long pledged to deport millions of illegal aliens, which would make it the largest attempt to do so in the nation’s history.

However, Bill O’Reilly called Trump’s plan “impossible.”

“It’s impossible. As soon as Donald Trump orders federal marshals, or whomever, to remove people from their property, the ACLU and everybody else would file lawsuits, and the federal courts would stop it,” O’Reilly said.

He added that “it would take 10 minutes to stop it.”

As an alternative, O’Reilly suggested that Trump “write an executive order that says, ‘if you are in this country without documentation, you must register with the federal government.’”

Meanwhile, Trump supporters want to see a mass exodus of illegal aliens from the country.

Many such supporters were seen holding signs at the Republican National Convention that said “Mass Deportation Now!”

Trump has put the immigration issue front and center during his campaign to become President.

When Trump was asked about the specifics of his plan during an interview with Time magazine, he hinted that he’d use the National Guard and potentially even the military to get it done.

The plan would target anywhere from 15 to 20 million illegal aliens who are living in America today.

During the interview, Trump said that as a nation “we have no choice.”

“Twenty million people, many of them from jails, many of them from prisons, many of them from mental institutions. I mean, you see what’s going on in Venezuela and other countries. They’re becoming a lot safer,” he told the magazine.

Cuomo and O’Reilly go head-to-head

The conversation between Chris Cuomo and Bill O’Reilly wasn’t the first time the two have had a head-to-head discussion.

In July, the pair talked about the issues surrounding Joe Biden and the media.

Chris Cuomo pushed back on O’Reilly after he accused the media of “covering” for Biden regarding his health and the Hunter Biden laptop scandal.

“If you think the media has been covering for Biden, you haven’t been watching television for the last week,” Cuomo said.

O’Reilly responded by saying that having a famous Democrat donor like George Clooney write an op-ed about Biden needing to drop out of the race without getting help from people like Barack Obama and Ron Klain behind the scenes was extremely unlikely.
