Nothing irritates the far-left more than people telling the truth about them.
They’re used to Big Tech and the media sanitizing their most poisonous voices and radical ideas, but occasionally the unvarnished truth gets out about the Left.
And country star Cody Johnson had some powerful words for Jason Aldean after he sent the woke mob into hysterics.
Jason Aldean’s new hit has electrified his fans.
Enraged leftists and corporate journalists have attempted to censor Try That in a Small Town over its depiction of the violent and deadly Black Lives Matter riots of 2020 as well as the overall spike in crime in major cities.
After leftists figuratively set their hair on fire over Aldean’s message, CMT pulled the music video for the song.
Like other Hollywood studios, CMT’s parent company, Paramount, supported the BLM activists who rioted and rampaged in cities around the country.
Strength in numbers against those who would cancel
But now Aldean is getting an assist from a fellow star.
Country superstar Cody Johnson made a show of support for fellow singer Jason Aldean during a recent concert.
Johnson told Aldean to “keep it up, brother.”
While performing at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri, he took time out to address the attempts to smear and censor Try That in a Small Town.

“We live in a time where everyone gets p****d off at Jason Aldean for putting out a song,” Johnson told the crowd. “If you’re videoing this, and Jason Aldean if you’re seeing this video, you keep it up, brother. You do you, boo boo. If being patriotic makes you an outlaw, then by God, I’ll be an outlaw.”
Johnson is best known for his smash hit Til You Can’t.
He is the latest singer to voice his support for Aldean, joining other country stars like Lee Greenwood and Travis Tritt.
The crowd absolutely loves the message
Aldean has been defiant in the face of the mob, recently performing the hit single to an appreciative crowd who chanted “USA!” in response.

“What I am is a proud American,” Aldean said in response to the criticism. “I’m proud to be from here. I love our country. I want to see it restored to what it once was before all this bullshit started happening to it.”
