Democrats are counting on their latest streak of good luck to hand them Midterm victories

Democrats are doing a victory lap after passing the Inflation Reduction Act.

The Fake News Media is happy to portray their small victories as monumental ones.

And Democrats are counting on their latest streak of good luck to hand them Midterm victories.

Biden’s good luck is unlikely to continue

Sure, the Biden administration has seen a small improvement in job approval numbers and a major W regarding this massive new tax-and-spend boondoggle.

Convincing Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) to agree to pass the Inflation Reduction Act was undoubtedly an uphill, hard-fought battle.

And it has many media talking heads and leading Democrats celebrating their newest streak of victories.

But when you look at things from a wider perspective, it’s obvious that this good luck likely won’t be enough to gain significant ground come Midterm time.

A solid year of inflation including skyrocketing gasoline, food, and housing prices certainly doesn’t give most U.S. voters a warm, fuzzy feeling.

In fact, Biden’s approval numbers are still quite low, coming in at about 40 percent per the latest RealClearPolitics average poll.

Public opinion shows that over 71 percent of Americans still believe the country is on the wrong track.

During the 2014 Midterm elections, Republicans won by a wide margin and at the time, those opinion numbers were lower at 65 percent.

When over 70 percent of the population feels that the nation is headed the wrong direction, it doesn’t bode well for the party in power.

But the GOP should remain on high alert

Unfortunately, Biden’s abysmal polling numbers and negative American sentiment doesn’t necessarily guarantee a GOP win, either.

Republicans are having a tough time finding exceptional candidates to run in both Senate and Governor’s races across the nation.

RINOs in office like Mitch McConnel aren’t helping either when they cave on vital issues like gun control, putting a damper on the spirit of many conservatives.

True conservatives are looking for representatives who will fight to preserve liberty, not dicker about how little liberty we’ll actually be able to hang onto.

Meanwhile, Democrats are still determined to make the upcoming Midterms an election focused on Donald Trump and not on Joe Biden’s failings.

The current administration is also trying to convince Americans that inflation is suddenly at zero, although most know better.

The truth is in the numbers, which show that inflation barely declined from 9.1 percent to 8.5 percent between the months of June and July.

Voters are doing everything they can to reduce spending at the gas pump and grocery store, but it’s not enough to ease the economic pain.

If Republicans want to see a Midterm victory, they’ll need liberty-minded candidates who focus on building a strong economy and restoring freedom.

While the Democrats think their latest wins are cause for celebration, there’s still a good chance that the GOP overall could see major wins in the upcoming elections if their voters show up in force at the polls.
