Democrats are willing to win this year at any cost.

That’s why they’re going to extraordinary lengths to ensure victory.

And Democrats are trying to tip a swing state to Kamala Harris with this awful move.

Democrats try to remove the Green Party from the ballot in Wisconsin

Wisconsin is one of the most hotly contested swing states in the Presidential election.

Former President Donald Trump won Wisconsin in 2016 by roughly 27,000 votes and became the first Republican Presidential candidate to carry the state since Ronald Reagan in 1984.

But the state flipped to President Joe Biden in the 2020 election by about 20,000 votes.

Polling this year shows that Wisconsin is likely headed to another down to the wire finish.

That’s why Democrats are trying to get any edge they can in the state.

Green Party Presidential candidate Jill Stein is facing an attempt by the Democrat National Committee (DNC) to have her removed from the ballot in Wisconsin.

Wisconsin election law states that the party qualified for ballot access this year because the Green Party’s 2022 Secretary of State candidate won more than 1% of the vote.

The DNC alleges that the Green Party doesn’t have anyone qualified to be an elector under state law.

“Because the Wisconsin Green Party hasn’t fielded candidates for legislative or statewide office and doesn’t have any current incumbent legislative or statewide office holders, it cannot nominate candidates and should not be on the ballot in November,” DNC advisor Adrienne Watson said.

Green Party threatens to take away votes from Kamala Harris

Jill Stein received about 30,000 votes in the 2016 election, which many Democrats attribute to Hillary Clinton’s loss in the state.

Democrats successfully sued to get the Green Party’s Presidential candidate in 2020 thrown off the ballot in Wisconsin.

Even a few thousand votes being siphoned off from Vice President Kamala Harris by Stein could make a difference in a tight election.

Democrats like to claim that they’re the party of protecting democracy, but they’ve run an aggressive campaign to throw third-party Presidential candidates off the ballot this year.

Stein’s campaign manager, Jason Call, described the attempt to remove her from the ballot as “anti-democratic shenanigans.”

“This is a phishing expedition conjured up by the DNC, and is in line with their statements back in March that they will hire an army of lawyers and infiltrators to find any angle of attack to prevent Green Party ballot access,” Call stated. “We absolutely will be hiring counsel to defend our ballot line in Wisconsin.”

Democrats have a big fear that portions of their base are upset with President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for not calling for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and will stay home in November.

The Green Party has made opposition to Israel a top part of its platform.

Nearly 48,000 voters in Wisconsin cast an uninstructed ballot in the April Democrat Presidential Primary as a protest vote against Biden.

Democrats are nervous that those upset voters could sink Kamala Harris’ campaign in Wisconsin.
