When people think of the most popular American entertainment companies, one of the first that comes to mind is the Walt Disney Company.

But this famous entertainment provider has fully embraced the woke mindset.

And Disney just destroyed an age-old classic film franchise.

Disney uses “they/them” pronouns in animated Star Wars series

With movies and spin-offs that span several decades, Star Wars is one of the world’s most famous film franchises.

But in the fifth episode of the Disney+ animated show called Tales of the Empire, they decided to use “they/them” pronouns when referring to a character who is gender-ambiguous.

During one scene, a character named Barriss Offee fights a light-saber duel with an unnamed Jedi, who appears to have an ambiguous gender.

There is no mention of gender identity during the fight, but once the Jedi is slain, two of the characters refer to the Jedi as “they” and “them.”

Star Wars YouTube creator Knights of Melvin broke down the scene and counted five times where they used “they/them” pronouns.

The YouTuber said it’s not clear why the characters refer to this particular Jedi as “they” or “them” since there was no mention of gender before the fight took place.

The series is created by Dave Filoni, Disney’s newly-minted chief creative officer of Lucasfilm.

The Disney Star Wars brand has constantly embraced woke identity politics under Filoni’s tenure.

However, this new woke mindset is alienating a large swath of fans.

According to Breitbart News, Lucasfilm recently hired Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy to direct an upcoming sequel to The Rise of Skywalker called The Jedi Order.

Obaid-Chinoy said that “I like to make men uncomfortable” when referring to her artistic goals.

Meanwhile, the Disney+ series Willow, which is based on the classic 1988 Ron Howard movie, was canceled last year after only one season.

It was eventually removed entirely from Disney+ after the series featured a gay romance between two main characters and put a transgender actor in a major role.

Disney won’t stop its woke agenda

Although Disney+ removed the controversial Willow series, the company is still pushing transgender ideals and other gender non-conformity themes in its content, which is mostly aimed at children.

The company has also fought the state of Florida over its anti-grooming law.

Additionally, Disney has recently created several transgender characters for children’s shows, put gay characters at the center of several big-budget films, and launched an LGBTQ-themed line of apparel.

The account Libs of TikTok shared the Tales of the Empire clip in question on X.

“New Star Wars show on Disney+ ‘Tales of the Empire’ features a non-binary character that uses they/them pronouns,” they wrote. “Parents, make sure you know what your kids are watching! They’re after your kids.”
