Democrats love to tote Dolly Parton out there like she’s their main token country star.
But come to find out, old Dolly isn’t a fan of any Democrat.
And Dolly Parton went on a tirade against politicians that had everyone in disbelief.
Democrats are trying to find their country star
One of the last bastions of American ideals in pop culture is country music.
For decades now, red-blooded Americans have listened to country music songs since they usually promote their family values.
But family values are something that our culture has launched an all out war against.
So far, country music hasn’t caved much.
In country music, stars like Toby Keith and John Rich have been for conservatism and the American way of life throughout their careers.
But years ago, Democrats were trying to find a country icon who they could put out there as the main supporter of their ideology.
And it seems like they landed on Dolly Parton, as she has been hitting the fake news circuit for years now.
There aren’t many bigger names in country music than Dolly Parton.
Some consider her the godmother of country music with her classic hits like Jolene, I Will Always Love You, and 9 to 5.
But Democrats and the Fake News Media have tried to put Dolly Parton out there as someone who doesn’t agree with the average American.
Most of Dolly Parton’s fans know she’s not very political.
But the Democrats confused her being apolitical with supporting their cause of wokeism.
One Fake News Media hack tried to get Dolly Parton to turn on Republicans and red-blooded Americans, but she didn’t take the bait.
Dolly ain’t for any politician
Dolly shocked everyone in the newsroom with what she had to say.
While on the Today show, the 77-year old country music icon was asked which politicians she was referring to in her new song, World on Fire.
In the song, Parton says “don’t get me started on politics, now how are we to live in a world like this, greedy politicians present and past, they wouldn’t know the truth if it bit ‘em in the ass.”
But she responded to the question by saying that she was referring to “all of ’em. Any of ‘em.”
“I don’t think any of ‘em are trying hard enough,” Parton continued. “I’m sure we’re all trying, but I just really think – I think often that they worry more about their Party than they do about the people.”
That was not the response the Fake News Media was hoping for.
They were setting her up to go after someone like former President Trump.
However, Parton turned the question on them and called out all of the politicians in all of the parties.
Hopefully Democrats will learn that they can’t buy Dolly Parton with publicity.
Because at the end of the day, she is still a country girl with country roots.
