Even though crime is surging and fentanyl is flowing over the southern border like water, all Democrats can focus on is Alvin Bragg’s bogus case against former President Donald Trump.
Although most legal experts are calling Alvin Bragg’s case laughable, Democrats think this could be the end of Trump’s political career.
But Donald Trump could not believe his ears after hearing Adam Schiff’s brash fundraising pitch.
Democrats are profiting as America’s criminal justice is humiliated on the world stage
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case against Trump is an international laughing stock.
Legal experts everywhere are already pointing out the many flaws in Bragg’s case.
This case is so obviously flawed that former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said on MSNBC last Sunday that “now is also not the time for Democratic candidates to celebrate, to brag, to predict the outcome of the legal cases. If you can, I’d actually just put your head down and stay out of it for now.”
However, this is not stopping some Democrats from cashing in on this monumental legal case.
One such Democrat is Adam Schiff (D-CA).
“Ultimately those with wealth and power must be held to account for the rule of law to truly matter,” Schiff wrote in a fundraising email. “Especially if they can use that influence to tear down our faith in the justice system.”
“Donald Trump will finally have his day in court,” Schiff’s email added. “And may have many more in the days and weeks to come.”
Underneath these talking points is a big blue button that says “Donate.” The donations would go directly into Adam Schiff’s campaign for the United States Senate.
Another Democrat group shamelessly fundraising off of the Trump case includes the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC).
“Let us be perfectly clear: In light of the STUNNING news about Donald Trump’s unprecedented indictment, it’s never been more clear that we need to defeat his extremist loyalists in the House,” the DCCC wrote in a fundraising email.
These fundraising attempts prove that Democrats and Democrat groups are completely in support of the lawsuit against Trump.
These attempts to profit off of Trump’s arrest will backfire tremendously
Although many on the Left are gloating about Trump’s predicament, some are wise to hold back their excitement.
Many legal experts, including Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz, do not believe this trial will last long given the numerous flaws in Bragg’s case against Donald Trump.
There are many questions that have yet to be answered regarding this case.
But one thing is for certain.
This witch hunt will not end anytime soon.
Even if Bragg is successful, Trump will still have the chance to appeal his case, most likely all the way to the Supreme Court of the United States.
