Liz Cheney happily joined Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 witch hunt against Donald Trump.

Cheney paid the ultimate price for it at the ballot box.

And Donald Trump could not stop laughing when he heard about Liz Cheney’s new job.

Former Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney was the most aggressive Never-Trump Republican in the Swamp over the past few years.

After January 6, Cheney went all-in on helping Democrats try to take down Donald Trump and stop him from running in 2024.

Cheney served as the Vice Chair of Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 Committee and dedicated all of her time to going after Trump instead of stopping Joe Biden’s socialist agenda.

Donald Trump vowed to make Cheney pay the price.

And in the Wyoming GOP Primary, Trump delivered on that promise when America First candidate Harriet Hageman crushed Cheney by 37 points.

However, Cheney refused to give up her war against Donald Trump.

On the night she lost by an embarrassing 37 points, Cheney compared herself to Abraham Lincoln.

The next morning she appeared on NBC and revealed she was considering running for President in 2024 to try and stop Trump.

Cheney promised that “I will be doing whatever it takes to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office.”

As for running for President, Cheney said “it is something that I am thinking about, and I’ll make a decision in the coming months.”

Fast forward a few months, and Liz Cheney finally announced her plans for the future.

Cheney’s new job will be as a professor of “practice” at the Center for Politics at the University of Virginia.

Center Director and leftist Larry Sabato said “Cheney serves as a model of political courage and leadership,” adding that she has a “compelling message to students about integrity.”

“She’s a true profile in courage, and she was willing to pay the price for her principles — and democracy itself,” he added.

Liz Cheney tried to spin her new job as part of her fight to preserve “our Constitutional Republic.”

“I am delighted to be joining the UVA Center for Politics as a Professor of Practice,” Cheney said. “Preserving our Constitutional Republic is the most important work of our time, and our nation’s young people will play a crucial role in this effort.”

“I look forward to working with students and colleagues at the Center to advance the important work they and others at the University of Virginia are doing to improve the health of democracy here and around the world,” she added.

Donald Trump promised to make Liz Cheney pay the price for teaming up with radical Democrats instead of fighting their socialist agenda.

And it looks like Donald Trump got the last laugh.

Do you still consider Donald Trump the leader of the Republican Party?
