The Biden administration set up a kangaroo court to try Donald Trump on politically-motivated charges for contesting the 2020 election.

But now all hell is breaking loose.

And Donald Trump just blindsided an Obama judge with this major trial demand.

Barack Obama-appointed Judge and former donor to his campaign, Tanya Chutkan, drew the assignment of overseeing Trump’s trial over charges that he conspired to commit fraud and deprive Americans of their rights by contesting the results of the 2020 election.

Although the Washington, D.C. court claims Chutkan drew the assignment at random, Trump did not view it as a coincidence that the judge who handed down the harshest sentences to his supporters on the January 6 charges and also attacked him from the bench during their trials got picked to oversee this case.

Trump blasted Chutkan’s political bias and pointed out that there was no way he could get a fair trial with an Obama-appointed Judge presiding over a case tried in front of a jury pulled from a population where 95 percent of the people voted against him.

The obvious unfairness of the situation where a Democrat prosecutor, a Democrat judge, and an all-Democrat jury will try the Republican frontrunner for President was obvious to everyone.

Trump made it clear that his lawyers would seek both a change of venue and for Barack Obama donor Tanya Chutkan to recuse herself as the Judge in this case.

“THERE IS NO WAY I CAN GET A FAIR TRIAL WITH THE JUDGE ‘ASSIGNED’ TO THE RIDICULOUS FREEDOM OF SPEECH/FAIR ELECTIONS CASE,” Trump posted on Truth Social.  “EVERYBODY KNOWS THIS, AND SO DOES SHE! WE WILL BE IMMEDIATELY ASKING FOR RECUSAL OF THIS JUDGE ON VERY POWERFUL GROUNDS, AND LIKEWISE FOR VENUE CHANGE, OUT IF D.C.”

Even Trump critic and former Attorney General William Barr said it was unfair to try him in Washington, D.C.

“To be honest, I feel strongly that the most important thing in any of these, whether you like the defendant, whether you’re rooting for him or not, is fairness to the individual. And, to be honest, I think that this may not be the — a fair jurisdiction for him, given the heat of political sentiment these days. So, I think that motion is worthy of consideration,” Barr told CBS News.

Trying Trump in Washington, D.C. strikes many Americans as a sham, which is why polls show the criminal charges are not affecting his standing in a rematch against Joe Biden.
