On his first day in office, Joe Biden began reversing Donald Trump’s successful border security and illegal immigration policies.
Joe Biden opening up the border has resulted in record numbers of illegal aliens entering the country, with Border Patrol agents apprehending nearly 192,000 illegal aliens during the month of June.
More than 1.6 million illegal aliens have entered the country since October of 2021, with more than 2.1 million expected to make it across by the end of the year.
Unfortunately, the crisis is about to get much worse.
Joe Biden allowed Title 42 to expire.
Title 42 was put in place by Trump and allows Border Patrol agents to swiftly deport illegal aliens to protect the country from the pandemic.
Not only that, but Biden’s Department of Homeland Security Chief just opened a new route for even more illegal aliens to cross the border and enter the country.
With Biden and the Democrats refusing to address the crisis, several Republican Governors are taking matters into their own hands.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott recently began sending busloads of illegal aliens dropped off by the Biden administration to Washington, D.C. and New York City.
Donald Trump issued a stern warning to Biden
On Saturday, Donald Trump spoke to a room full of conservatives at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) conference in Dallas, Texas.
Texas is one of the border states suffering the most from Joe Biden’s open borders agenda.
During his speech, Donald Trump ripped Joe Biden and the Democrats for welcoming the “invasion at our southern border.”
“There is another horrific disaster we must confront if we want to restore safety in our country,” Trump said. “At long last, we must stop the invasion at our southern border. It’s an invasion. Our country is being invaded. Our country’s being invaded just like a military force was boring in.”
Even though Joe Biden’s first term doesn’t end until 2024, Donald Trump called on Republicans in Congress to shut down the administration’s open borders agenda when they take back the majority this fall.
“Republicans in Congress must make clear that on their watch not a single penny of taxpayer money will go to funding Joe Biden’s open border agenda,” Trump declared, before adding that “it’s a sick agenda” that “makes no sense.”
Since Congress holds the power of the purse, Trump said Republicans should “use the purse strings to send a message to every would-be illegal all over the world” that “if you break into our country illegally, you will be caught, we will detain you, and we will quickly send you back to the place from which you came – or put you in prison.”
Border Patrol agents are also understaffed and don’t have all the resources they need to effectively perform their duties.
Trump said Republicans can also take care of that issue if they regain control of Congress in November.
“We will also need a record increase in the number of new ICE officers and border patrol officers to resume the enforcement of our immigration laws and to deport the illegal aliens [that] Joe Biden is refusing to deport — he won’t even they won’t even take out illegal aliens out of our country — in addition, we should pass much tougher penalties for repeat immigration violators of which there are many,” Trump said.
Enormous death toll of Biden’s border crisis
When discussing illegal immigration, the debate is usually centered around the economic impact of millions of illegal aliens who can’t speak English and have little to no skills entering the country.
However, Donald Trump pointed out the growing death toll of Joe Biden’s open borders agenda.
“Just last month, an illegal alien here in Texas was indicted for the cold-blooded murders of four elderly women throughout the state,” Trump said, before adding that “he’s been accused of links to the deaths of at least 24 people — 24 people — perhaps the deadliest serial killer in Texas history.”
“They’re now saying he could be the deadliest serial killer — some illegal alien,” Trump added.
Trump also mentioned the illegal alien who murdered a Harris County police officer over a routine traffic stop earlier this year.
Joe Biden’s open borders agenda poses a direct threat to the safety and security of every man, woman, and child in America.
Polls show illegal immigration is a top concern for voters this fall.
