Dr. Fauci proclaimed himself a bonafide American hero in a statement that will leave you red with rage

The biggest problem in Washington, D.C. right now may not actually be the unhinged radical leftists and RINOs in Congress, as we’ve all believed.

In reality, the biggest problem may, in fact, be that the entire federal bureaucracy believes they are infallible or God’s gift to mankind — it’s a superiority complex.

And that was proven recently when Dr. Fauci proclaimed himself a bonafide American hero in a statement that will leave you red with rage.

Fauci is officially on the hot seat

Recently, some Congressional Republicans have begun to speak openly about a few of the items on their to-do list, should they regain majorities in the U.S. House and Senate after November’s Midterms.

Chief among them, according to Senator Rand Paul, is investigating Dr. Anthony Fauci and the Biden administration’s response to COVID.

Senator Paul, who is in line to be the Chairman of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee if Republicans win a majority in that chamber, has been the most vocal and adamant Senator in America on Fauci’s potential role in using taxpayer dollars to fund research at the infamous Wuhan lab that many believe created COVID and inadvertently unleashed it on the world.

And the Senator is certainly not backing down any time soon.

“One way or another, if we are in the majority, we will subpoena [Fauci’s] records and he will testify in the Senate under oath,” Paul said.

“If we win in November, if I’m Chairman of a Committee, if I have subpoena power, we’ll go after every one of his records,” he reiterated.

As expected, the corporate-controlled media has rushed to Dr. Fauci’s defense — after all, what’s left of their credibility does hinge on him being innocent on consistently lying to the American people — claiming Senator Paul and other Republicans who have raised these unanswered questions are in the “minority,” and any such investigations haven’t “gained momentum.”

Of course, in their minds, the only way an opinion can rise above being in the “minority” and actually “gain momentum” is for it to be an opinion shared and pushed by the corporate-controlled media, which obviously only happens if it advances the radical Left’s socialist agenda.

And as such, CNN immediately rushed to put Dr. Fauci on their airwaves to push back against Senator Paul’s investigation — an investigation that doesn’t yet exist and wouldn’t even really be able to start for another six months, at least.

But he’s an American hero!

The radical Left and their allies in the so-called “mainstream” media have treated Dr. Anthony Fauci like a god.

They’ve pretended that he has all the answers at all times, and even when he’s wrong, he’s somehow still right, and even when it’s proven he lied, he’s still telling the truth.

And no one has bought into Dr. Fauci’s supposed infallibility more than Dr. Fauci himself.

In an interview with CNN’s New Day, Fauci was as arrogant and defiant as ever, as he literally dared Senator Rand Paul to try to investigate him.

“Well, there’s no reason to do that, but if they want to go ahead,” Fauci said of an investigation into his role in COVID. “My records are an open book.”

Fauci went on to claim that Republicans were accusing him of “bizarre” things, “like crimes against democracy by shutting down the government.”

Well, if a small group of dumb people protesting inside the Capitol is a “crime against democracy,” it would seem to reason that a government bureaucrat who almost unilaterally decided to strip Americans of their most sacred Constitutional rights, then used government force and private companies to silence all dissent, and profited from it to the tune of millions would also have committed a slight “crime against democracy.”

But maybe that’s using too much “common sense” for the good doctor and his left-wing pals.

Besides, how could anyone ever say such things about a bonafide American hero who “saved millions of lives.”

“All I have ever done – and go back and look at everything I’ve ever done – was to recommend common-sense, good CDC-recommended health policies that have saved millions of lives,” Fauci whined. “If you want to investigate me for that, go ahead.”

But as Grabien.com video database creator Tom Elliott pointed out on Twitter, there are quite a few facts that contradict literally everything Fauci claims.

Elliott tweeted that Dr. Fauci “Also: — Accidentally created Covid — Covered it up — Engineered destruction of civil rights — Lied to Congress — Used govt to suppress dissent — Impaired development of a generation of children — Gave conflicting advice at every stage of Covid — Used position to profit.”

And that’s just the information that’s available to the public now.

Imagine what an actual public servant who is dedicated to the Constitution and republic above all else, like Senator Rand Paul, could uncover with subpoena power and the weight of the United States Senate behind him.

It’s probably best at this point in time for Dr. Fauci to cut back on his self-serving CNN appearances and use the extra time over the next six months or so to begin practicing his “On the advice of counsel, I respectfully exercise my Fifth Amendment right and decline to answer” spiel.

The American people deserve to know exactly why their lives were thrown upside down, why their rights were stripped away, why the economy was irreparably harmed, why their children’s cognitive and social development was sent off the rails, why a mental health epidemic was unleashed on them sending suicides skyrocketing, and why they were constantly lied to about it all.

And whether he likes it or not, Dr. Fauci’s days of just having everyone trust him are coming to an end.
