The Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade has caused Democrats to absolutely lose their mind.
From riots, protests, and marches to firebombing and vandalizing churches and crisis pregnancy centers, deranged Democrats are very, very angry.
But some leftists like Elizabeth Warren have become so angry that they’ve fried their brains and came up with one of the most disturbing plans for federal lands imaginable.
How federal lands should be used
Currently the federal government owns over twenty seven percent of all land in America, which is approximately six hundred and fifteen million acres of land with much of that government owned land being in the western part of the country.
But what’s really wild to think about is the fact that the federal government owns around forty seven percent of all land in the West and over eighty percent of Nevada.
Federal lands are land that has been purchased and managed by the federal government for the conservation and promotion of wildlife, recreational uses, the preservation of historic landmarks, and the development of natural resources.
Also the federal government, under some administrations, will allow companies to lease federal lands to extract natural resources like oil or natural gas to create more good paying jobs in America and make us less dependent on foreign countries for our energy needs.
How federal lands should NOT be used
However, in light of the Supreme Court’s recent decision, Elizabeth Warren has thought of a different use for federal lands.
During a recent ABC News interview, Senator Warren said, “We have never left individual rights to the states. The whole idea is that women are not second-class citizens, and the government is not the one that will decide about the continuation of a pregnancy. You know there’s no equivalent there for men. What we believe is that access to abortion like other medical procedures should be available across the board to all people in this country.”
Elizabeth Warren then laid out her insidious plan for federal lands by saying, “Now, we’ve got a lot of things on our agenda right now. First of all, we need to help the women who are pregnant right now and need help. That means sending resources to states like New Mexico that border other states that are going to try to help out. It means getting involved by volunteering and sending money, asking the president of the United States to make abortion as available as possible with the tools he has, including medication abortion, including using federal lands as a place where abortions can occur.”
And there you have it.
Elizabeth Warren wants to make federal lands, areas known for preserving wildlife, and turn them into places to end human life.
But what’s even more troubling is that Warren’s sickening scheme is gaining traction with the radical Left.
Shortly after Warren announced her plan, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez enthusiastically announced her support for it during a recent pro-abortion rally.
In fact, it’s gotten so much steam that CNN’s Dana Bash asked Vice President Kamala Harris about it.
Thankfully, Kamala Harris seemed to reject the idea when she said, “I mean, it’s not right now what we are discussing.”
However, it was not a flat-out rejection of the idea either as it should have been.
