Elon Musk announced last week that he would be hosting Donald Trump on X for a historic interview.
Corrupt Deep State powers did everything they could to stop the conversation from happening.
But Elon Musk and Donald Trump defied the odds and blew up the internet with unbelievable reach.
European Union moves to shut down Trump ahead of historic interview
Donald Trump just did a major interview with Elon Musk on his social media platform X.
Before it even started, power brokers were working overtime to stop it from reaching the masses.
European Commissioner for Internal Market and Services, Thierry Breton, put their efforts right out in the open.
Breton published an open letter on the platform warning Musk of repercussions if “any negative effect of illegal content on X” is seen by European lawmakers.
The commissioner claimed he wrote it to “protect EU citizens from serious harm.”
With great audience comes greater responsibility #DSA
As there is a risk of amplification of potentially harmful content in 🇪🇺 in connection with events with major audience around the world, I sent this letter to @elonmusk

But Musk and his CEO Linda Yaccarino weren’t having it.
“This is an unprecedented attempt to stretch a law intended to apply in Europe to political activities in the US,” Yaccarino wrote in response.
This is an unprecedented attempt to stretch a law intended to apply in Europe to political activities in the US. It also patronizes European citizens, suggesting they are incapable of listening to a conversation and drawing their own conclusions. https://t.co/RmxL4VFuvV

Musk simply shared a meme that said everything he needed to say.
To be honest, I really wanted to respond with this Tropic Thunder meme, but I would NEVER do something so rude & irresponsible! https://t.co/jL0GDW5QUx pic.twitter.com/XhUxCSGFNP

But the attacks kept coming.
“Massive DDOS attack” was initiated to stop Trump from speaking
On Monday night, users struggled to get into the X Space to hear the interview and instead were presented with a monkey emoji stating that “this space is not available.”

Hundreds of thousands waited in the queue, and then approximately 20 minutes after it was scheduled to start, Musk broke the silence.
“There appears to be a massive DDOS attack on X. Working on shutting it down. Worst case, we will proceed with a smaller number of live listeners then post the conversation later,” he wrote.

Users began questioning if X was ready for such a large stream.
After all, they remembered what happened during Governor Ron DeSantis’ campaign announcement in 2023.
But Musk assured everyone that he had done everything to prepare for this interview.
“We tested the system with 8 million concurrent listeners earlier today,” he said.

But moments later, the interview began.
“I see you broke every record in the book”
No matter how hard they tried, governments and hackers could not stop people from hearing the interview.
“There’s a lot of opposition to people just hearing what President Trump has to say,” Musk said.
But the opposition failed.
In an announcement the following day, Musk celebrated the record reach of the interview by stating that over one-billion people had seen the post or discussed the interview.

An enormous win for Musk and Trump
The Trump campaign posted all of the relevant stats on their website following Musk’s announcement.
By that time, the total reach had grown to 2.9 billion people.
An astonishing 25 million people listened to the interview in its entirety, and as many as 1.5 million were in the audience while it was still live.
