Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the poster child for spoiled socialist millennials.
She has been pampered her entire life while simultaneously being brainwashed into believing she’s somehow an oppressed victim.
And even Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’ woke supporters couldn’t believe their ears after she inadvertently exposed her own entitlement with this one bartending story.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has been one of the most coddled Members of Congress.
She sat for one interview in which she received the slightest bit of pushback on the nonsense she spouts, and has only spoken with Democratic operatives and activists in the media ever since.
Whenever she gets criticized, she immediately plays the victim card.
This time, Ocasio-Cortez played the victim card when she was asked about her time as a bartender before winning a seat in Congress.
“Oh gosh, there is literally an endless supply here,” Ocasio-Cortez said, after being asked if she had any stories from her time in the service industry. “I have some really weird stories. One time there was this really rich guy who would come in 1 week a year and was really addicted to mansplaining. You could just really tell he got satisfaction from it. He’d love to say ‘ask me a question’ and include all these little asides to belittle the server and uplift himself. Anyways, if you indulged him he’d tip like $200-300 on a lunch tab. Every day for a week straight. Then disappear till next year.”
Oh, the horror.
Rep. Ocasio-Cortez had to listen to a man talk before getting a $300 tip every day for an entire week – pretty sure most Americans wouldn’t mind an extra $1,500 as a yearly bonus, regardless of whether the guy paying them was a weirdo or not.
In fact, many working-class Americans have to work an entire month just to make what she made in a week.
Many people roasted the Democrat Socialist for her entitled tone.
“$1200-$1500 from one week to listen to a guy tell stories while I worked,” One Twitter user responded. “Guy sounds awesome! I wish I had him visit my establishment when I was younger. Would have been incredible to have such a great week in tips!”
Of all the customers to complain about, the one who leaves $300 tips every day for a week simply because you played into his ego is not one of them.
Anyone who has worked in the food service industry – or any industry that deals with the public, for that matter – can attest.
“99.9% chance he was a wealthy and quaint old man whose wife had passed a few years ago and who loved reading in retirement and just wanted someone, ANYONE to talk to for a minute,” Daily Caller editor-in-chief Geoffrey Ingersoll wrote. “Maybe even childless through no fault of his own, so passing on info to a young server gave him a sense of worth and he was willing to tip well for the opportunity.”
“So instead of demonstrating grace to this person, [AOC] turns him into a fictitious boogey monster that validates all the neo-marxist gender nonsense vomited into her skull during college,” he added.
Despite her efforts to portray herself as just “Alex from the Bronx” – even though she grew up in Yorktown Heights, an upper-middle class suburb in the second wealthiest county in New York State – Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is completely detached from any semblance of reality.
Needless to say, she has all the makings for a long run in Congress.
