Censorship and fear mongering should have been the first warning.
After all, the alliance between government and industry to influence people is how it normally starts.
And former CIA Director Michael Hayden just fired a warning shot at Republicans that could lead to violence.
Turning Republicanism into extremism
Joe Biden and his followers have always taken strongly to calling conservatives a variety of nasty names.
At this point, conservatives have grown accustomed to it.
We’ve been called every name in the book.
Racist.
Fascist.
Xenophobic.
Apparently, leftists have decided to turn the rhetoric up a notch.
Associate Editor for the Financial Times and rabid Never-Trumper, Edward Luce, caused an outrage on Twitter recently.
He said, “I’ve covered extremism and violent ideologies around the world over my career. Have never come across a political force more nihilistic, dangerous & contemptible than today’s Republicans. Nothing close.”
Comparing Republicans to the likes of ISIS, al-Qaeda, Weather Underground, and the list goes on.
The insanity of comparing honest, hard-working Americans to those who destroyed the World Trade Center buildings and the Pentagon, blew up churches and synagogues, looted businesses, and burned city blocks to the ground is hard to reconcile.
But Luce tried to cover his tracks by calling his own tweet out, “There may be an element of hyperbole in my tweet and I should have qualified ‘in the democratic world’. But here’s the thing, conservative Twitter: Saying ‘hey what about ISIS beheading people?’ is not as convincing a defense of the GOP as you might think.”
These people are so deranged.
Former CIA Director Michael Hayden poured gasoline on the dumpster fire
Perhaps we should be used to former intelligence officers pushing their political ideologies at this point.
We aren’t though and it’s getting dangerous.
Michael Hayden, an establishment shill from the Obama regime, chimed in responding to Luce’s comment with a simple, “I agree. And I was the CIA Director.”
It’s almost easy to understand how an editor or columnist could get confused about what extremism is.
It’s not like they spend their time in the field much – they’re mostly just keyboard warriors.
But when a former CIA Director steps forward to agree that Republicans are “dangerous and contemptible,” that sends a very different kind of message.
Hayden might as well be calling to lock up Trump supporters at this point.
Provocation is all they know, and we can only hope they will fail
Americans are expected to trust the government.
Trust the agencies.
Trust the lifelong “civil servants.”
But that is not the direction we are going.
Biden wants to “Build Back Better” so his handlers can create a system of one-party rule.
The only way he’ll achieve that is by burning the country down and rebuilding on the ashes.
