Chicago is learning the hard way about the dangers of the border crisis
One of the biggest threats to America’s safety is Joe Biden’s open borders agenda.
Joe Biden’s lack of commitment to border security is resulting in massive amounts of deadly drugs, weapons, and criminals flowing across the border on a daily basis.
Border states like Texas are running out of places to put these illegal aliens, which forced Governor Greg Abbott to send them elsewhere.
Much to the chagrin of elected officials and residents in the city, one destination that Governor Abbott is sending many of these illegal aliens is Chicago, Illinois.
Mayor Lori Lightfoot lambasted Abbott for sending illegal aliens to Chicago.
In a statement, Mayor Lightfoot claimed that “Chicago is a Welcoming City and we collaborate with County, State, and community partners to rise to this challenge, but your lack of consideration or coordination in an attempt to cause chaos and score political points has resulted in a critical tipping point in our ability to receive individuals and families in a safe, orderly, and dignified way.”
She added that “ know by your actions that you either do not see or do not care about the trauma these migrants have already faced and continue to suffer under the humanitarian crisis you have created. But I beseech you anyway: treat these individuals with the respect and dignity that they deserve. To tell them to go to Chicago or to inhumanely bus them here is an inviable and misleading choice.”
In summation, Lori Lightfoot is saying that she supports illegal immigration, just not in Chicago.
Lori Lightfoot and other prominent Democrats like her often encourage illegal immigration with their lavish welfare benefits, but then refuse to take any accountability for the problems caused by it.
Illegal immigration is just one of the many serious problems facing Chicago
At one point in history, Chicago was a booming metropolis and regional hub for business growth.
But today the only thing Chicago is a hub for is crime and gang violence.
Chicago is one of America’s deadliest cities and businesses are fleeing the area in droves.
Mayor Lori Lightfoot has caused immeasurable damage to the Windy City, and her complaining about illegal immigration will do nothing to solve any of the issues facing Chicago.
Securing the border ought to be at the top of Joe Biden’s agenda.
However, leftists always chalk border security up to nothing more than Republican talking points.
As long as Joe Biden refuses to admit there is a problem at the border, the crisis will only keep getting worse.
