One of the biggest cover ups in history concealed the truth about the contents from Hunter Biden’s laptop from the American people.
But the truth behind that plot to conceal the facts from the public may be exposed.
And Hunter Biden is going to hate what this bombshell lawsuit is going to reveal.
Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt and Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry sued the Biden Administration for violating the First Amendment by pressuring Big Tech companies to censor information pertaining to Hunter Biden’s laptop, the coronavirus pandemic, and the security of mail-in ballots during the 2020 election.
Just the News reported, “The suits were filed Thursday by Attorneys General Eric Schmitt of Missouri and Jeff Landry of Louisiana in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. The suit alleges the officials worked with social media companies Meta, Twitter, and YouTube to censor information that was not to their political advantage . . .”
The report then quoted from the lawsuit, “…Notoriously, social-media platforms aggressively censored core political speech by then-President Trump and the Trump campaign raising concerns about the security of voting by mail in the run-up to the November 2020 presidential election,” which added that the defendants allegedly “coerced, threatened, and pressured social media platforms to censor disfavored speakers and viewpoints by using threats of adverse government action.”
Just the News noted “The suit – which also names DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, the Center for Disease Control, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and Jen Easterly who heads up the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency – also asks the court to find the administration guilty of violating the First Amendment and exceeding its statutory authority.”
When tech companies censor conservative speech, leftists hide behind the fact that since social media platforms are private entities, the First Amendment guarantee of freedom of speech does not apply.
But that is not exactly true.
If social media companies respond to government pressure or demands to censor information, then social media companies are considered government agents and in violation of the First Amendment.
That is what Attorneys General Landry and Schmitt alleged took place.
And there is clear evidence of this happening.
Last year, both Jen Psaki and Joe Biden publicly demanded Facebook censor accounts on the administration’s enemies list over the spread of so-called “misinformation” about the COVID vaccines.
If this lawsuit gets to the discovery stage, the Biden officials named will have to turn over all their records of communication with Big Tech.
If this happens, the American people will finally get to see how Democrats conspired with tech companies to hide essential truths from the public and rig the 2020 election.
