Joe Biden’s biggest political and legal liability is Hunter Biden.
But Hunter Biden somehow found a way to make matters worse.
And Hunter Biden made Joe Biden’s life a living hell with one jaw-dropping letter.
Hunter Biden’s lawyer, Abbe Lowell, fired off a letter to House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith in a desperate attempt to prevent him from releasing the testimony of IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley.
But Lowell made matters worse with an error-filled letter that only served to call attention to the bombshell Shapley dropped in his testimony about Joe Biden’s Justice Department covering up for Hunter Biden.
Lowell absurdly claimed a July 30 WhatsApp message from Hunter Biden to Harvest Fund Management Henry Zhao demanding immediate payment or else Joe Biden would cease granting access and favors to a company linked to the Chinese Communist Party was a forgery consisting of “false text.”
That was not true.
Chairman Smith pulled the WhatsApp message directly from the transcript of Shapley’s testimony.
Lowell ended up essentially claiming the message Smith displayed from Hunter Biden at a press conference was a fraud because it was a graphic representation of what a text conversation looks like.

Lowell blundered by claiming that the message was a fake because Hunter Biden said his father was sitting right next to him and was prepared to take action unless the Communist Chinese company payed up.
However, a photograph taken that day shows Hunter Biden posing behind the wheel of Joe Biden’s Corvette, which was stored at his house in Delaware.
This photo appears to show Hunter Biden, in his father’s infamous corvette, hours after texting his Chinese business partner: “I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father.”

Finally, Lowell called into question the authenticity of the laptop by reaching back to the falsehood 51 Deep State agents spread during the 2020 election about the computer being the product of a disinformation campaign.
But Lowell’s past comments did him in.
Earlier this year, Lowell claimed the Delaware computer repair shop owner who ended up in possession of the laptop had illegally accessed Hunter’s private information.
“Mr. Mac Isaac has admitted to gaining access to our client’s personal computer data without Mr. Biden’s consent. Mr. Mac Isaac has admitted to copying that data without Mr. Biden’s consent, and Mr. Mac Isaac has admitted to distributing copies of that data to the political enemies of Mr. Biden’s father, without Mr. Biden’s consent. These unlawful actions caused the widespread publication, manipulation, and exploitation of Mr. Biden’s most personal information,” Lowell stated.
Mac Isaac could not have accessed Hunter Biden’s personal information unless the contents of the laptop were real.
Republicans on the House Oversight Committee posted on social media that Lowell’s letter was a desperate attempt to distract from the fact that Shapley’s testimony blew the lid off the biggest political scandal in generations.
“The White House is terrified,” the House Oversight Committee’s Twitter account read. “Full panic mode.”
