Tim Walz has been on his back foot since he entered the race.

J.D. Vance is dialing up the pressure against him.

And J.D. Vance took off the gloves with one move that left Tim Walz red with rage.

J.D. Vance continues to attack Tim Walz on his stolen valor

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has been under fire for a growing stolen valor scandal that was exposed almost immediately after Vice President Kamala Harris tapped him as her running mate.

He’s been caught lying about seeing combat as a member of the Army National Guard.

He also repeatedly lied about the rank he held when he retired.

Walz lied about his military service for the benefit of his political career, which is the textbook definition of stolen valor.

Soldiers in the Minnesota Governor’s National Guard unit revealed that he put in his retirement papers to run for Congress in 2006 rather than deploying with the unit to Iraq.

That’s why U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) – a veteran of the Marines in Iraq – has been on the offensive against Walz’s stolen valor.

He traveled to the swing state of Pennsylvania to hold a campaign event at a Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post.

“Tim Walz said that he carried a weapon in war,” Vance said. “He never went to war.”

“Tim Walz said that he didn’t know his unit was about to deploy to Iraq when even his own press release at the time said that he knew exactly that,” Vance continued. “Tim Walz claimed to be a Command Sergeant Major, even had it printed on his challenge coins, and he knew he never achieved that rank.”

Vance also spoke to the veterans about the military’s struggle to meet recruiting goals during the Biden-Harris administration after their woke agenda was forced on the armed services.

Representatives Jim Banks (R-IN), Brian Mast (R-FL), and Michael Waltz (R-FL) – all veterans – also spoke at the Pennsylvania VFW event.

Veterans are a key part of the Trump-Vance coalition

Vance is a part of the Trump campaign’s strategy to build support from veterans.

He’s going to be holding events with veterans through Election Day.

The swing states of North Carolina and Georgia have multiple major military bases and large veteran populations.

Pennsylvania is home to more than 800,000 veterans.

Veterans and Military Families for Trump executive director Jesse Jane Duff predicted that veterans would make the difference for former President Donald Trump.

“This is going to be the one thing that will probably put Donald Trump over the line,” Duff said. “Vance is a threat to the Democratic ticket.”

She said that Vance was working hard on driving up turnout for veterans in Pennsylvania, which both parties see as the most important swing state.

The 40-year-old Ohio lawmaker is someone who can speak to the veterans who served in Iraq and the Global War on Terrorism.

“J.D. Vance has just turned 40 years old, so you’re going to activate that 30- to 55-year-old base,” Duff explained.

Tim Walz’s stolen valor scandal is a problem that will haunt Democrats until Election Day.
