Tim Walz’s first week as Kamala Harris’ running mate has been rife with controversy, as voters learn more about his left-wing record and his habit of committing stolen valor.
Even if Democrats and their media allies are largely trying to ignore it, there’s no denying the fact that many elites believe this wouldn’t have happened if Kamala Harris had picked Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro as a running mate.
And James Carville hit John Fetterman with one stern warning that has Tim Walz freaking out.
The plot to take out Josh Shaprio
Democrats and their media allies are pretending like Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Democrat Governor Tim Walz are the greatest, most unstoppable Presidential ticket in American history.
Scrolling through the headlines of the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, Politico, and all the other members of the Democrat propaganda machine, it’s clear that they are living in an alternate reality.
But despite their coordinated efforts to make Americans fall in love with the most extreme left-wing Presidential ticket in history, there is plenty of evidence to suggest that many Democrats aren’t too thrilled about risking their media-manufactured rebirth of Kamala Harris by adding Walz and all his baggage into the mix.
That’s largely because, in addition to having to rebrand the extreme socialist agenda he pushed in Minnesota as “moderate” and the product of so-called “midwestern values,” they’re also having to defend all the times he supposedly “misspoke” and committed stolen valor.
Many Democrats would have preferred Kamala Harris to select Pennsylvania Democrat Governor Josh Shapiro, whose 60% approval rating in one of the most crucial battleground states in the country would have given them a major leg up on the Trump-Vance ticket.
But even though polls indicated that Shaprio had the most support from Democrat voters overall, there were a number of Democrats reportedly working against him behind the scenes.
One such Democrat was Shaprio’s fellow Pennsylvanian, Senator John Fetterman (D-PA).
Trouble in paradise
Politico reported that Senator Fetterman effectively dispatched members of his staff to actively lobby against Shaprio’s candidacy.
They suggested to Kamala Harris’ team that the Governor cannot be trusted because he’s “excessively focused on his own personal ambitions.”
Considering the fact that CNN reported that Kamala Harris chose Walz because he “would be a team player,” it’s hard to believe Fetterman’s warnings didn’t play at least some role in the decision.
Apparently, after watching the firestorm that’s ensued since Walz was named as Kamala’s running mate, veteran Democrat strategist James Carville is none too pleased with Fetterman.
During his Politics War Room podcast, Carville warned Senator Fetterman that he will be “dealt with” after the election for undercutting Shaprio’s candidacy.
“The other thing is, one of the great backstabbers in modern Democratic politics is John Fetterman, but I’m going to wait ’til after the election to deal with him,” Carville said. “But he’s somebody that must be dealt with, and must be dealt with in real terms.”
Democrat elites like Carville have become increasingly frustrated with Fetterman over the past few months, as he’s proven to not be the easily controllable puppet they expected him to be.
But according to the architect of former President Bill Clinton’s 1992 election victory, the only reason the Democrat Senator even won that race was because of Shapiro.
“The reason he’s in the United States Senate is because of Shapiro,” Carville raged. “If you look at the Pennsylvania election returns, 2022, and you’ll get the idea of how Josh dragged this guy across the finish line.”
Simmering tension amongst Democrats
This isn’t the first time these two Democrats have been at odds.
Senator Fetterman told the “Ragin’ Cajun” to “shut the f*** up” in December after he warned that President Joe Biden could lose his re-election bid.
“There’s a whole lifetime in politics between now and next November as well. I’m not worried about that,” Fetterman said at the time. “And I’m very vocal about this, too, while there are Democrats that are being very critical about the President, I’ll use this [as] another opportunity to tell James Carville to shut the f*** up.”
“My man hasn’t been relevant since grunge was a thing,” he said. “And I don’t know why he believes it’s helpful to say these kinds of things about an incredibly difficult circumstance with an incredibly strong and decent and excellent President. I’ll never understand that.”
Clearly, things aren’t all sunshine and rainbows on the Democrat side.
They could be one bump in the road away from watching Kamala Harris and Tim Walz completely ruin all the momentum they’ve artificially manufactured over the past few weeks.
