The classified documents scandal continues to grow.
The FBI even searched Joe Biden’s residence.
And Joe Biden just made a mind-boggling admission about the classified documents seized from his home.
Democrats and members of the corporate-controlled media are bending over backwards to try and explain away Joe Biden’s classified documents scandal.
Trump treated differently than Biden over documents
Of course, it is difficult for them since they blasted former President Donald Trump when the FBI raided his home at Mar-a-Lago.
So far, the best they’ve been able to come up with essentially amounts to “Trump is bad, and Biden is good.”
But now things are getting harder to explain thanks to Joe Biden, who has a tendency to put his foot in his mouth and make major mistakes.
Documents from Biden’s time in the Senate
Biden admitted in an interview with PBS anchor Judy Woodruff that at least one document seized by federal investigators from his home in Wilmington, Delaware, is nearly 50 years old.
At the end of her interview with Biden, Woodruff asked the current President why his condemnation of Donald Trump for retaining classified documents does not also apply to him.
When the FBI raided Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home and found documents, Biden called Trump “totally irresponsible.”
Of course, he now says that doesn’t apply to him.
However, his attempt at explaining it opened up even more questions.
“What I was talking about was what was laid out,” Biden said, referring to the infamous photo the DOJ included in court filings that showed alleged classified documents on the floor of Mar-a-Lago.
Then, completely ignoring the fact that highly classified documents were found at his private residence, Biden tried to defend himself by saying he “voluntarily” allowed federal agents to search his home.
Of course, Trump has said all along that he would have allowed them to search if they had asked or informed him there was a problem.
Biden went on to make the most confusing and possibly damaging statement of all.
“To the best of my knowledge, the kinds of things they picked up were things from 1974 and stray papers,” Biden said. “There may be something else, I don’t know.”
Biden was a Senator in 1974.
Many are wondering why the FBI found highly classified documents from 1974 in Biden’s home?
Far worse than originally thought
By Biden’s own admission, this classified documents scandal is far worse than anyone originally thought.
Biden’s lawyer also admitted that FBI agents seized documents from his time in the Senate, but wouldn’t elaborate on what documents were found.
Biden also refused to elaborate on this point.
Not surprisingly, Biden followed up his mind-boggling admission by claiming he has no responsibility for mishandling classified documents.
“One of the things that happened is that what was not done well is as they packed up my offices to move them, they didn’t do the kind of job that should have been done to go thoroughly through every single piece of literature that’s there,” Biden said.
Biden may not hold himself responsible.
But the American people do.
