When it comes to matters of national security, few issues are as pressing and important as border security.
And today the southern border is a complete disaster.
But Joe Biden left jaws on the floor when he essentially declared war on this border state.
Joe Biden has no interest in securing the southern border
There is no point in sugar coating things anymore, what is happening at the southern border is a complete and total disaster.
Thousands of illegal aliens are flooding in by the day and so are deadly drugs like Chinese-made fentanyl.
Instead of taking common sense steps to secure the border, Joe Biden is making it his mission to make the border as porous and dangerous as humanly possible.
This was made abundantly clear when Joe Biden practically declared war on the border state of Arizona.
Just recently, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey made the decision to fill gaps in the southern border with unused containers.
According to Gov. Ducey, this was done due to “the inaction of the Biden administration in stopping migrants from entering the state from Mexico.”
Almost immediately, the Biden administration clapped back by saying “The unauthorized placement of those containers constitutes a violation of federal law and is a trespass against the United States,” Jacklynn Gould, regional director for the Bureau of Reclamation’s Lower Colorado Basin said in a statement to the state of Arizona.
He went on to declare “That trespass is harming federal lands and resources and impeding Reclamation’s ability to perform its mission.”
These are extremely harsh words from the Biden administration, and accusing a state of trespassing on federal land could ignite a powder keg.
Fortunately, Arizonans are not backing down just yet.
On Fox News, Republican Yuma Mayor Douglas Nicholls said “They say this is federal land, and it is, but it would be trespassing supposedly to put these containers on there.”
But he quickly added, “Well, my contention is that 300,000 people that have come through this year alone, they’ve been trespassing, and I don’t remember seeing a letter going out to anybody to try to stop any of that.”
The bottom line is that Arizona is right to stand up against this federal government.
If the Biden administration is unable to uphold the law of the land and enforce border security then somebody has to.
The very fact that Joe Biden and his goons are threatening Arizona for taking such action proves that they are willing to go to extreme lengths to keep the border unsecured.
This tussle may end up going to the Supreme Court eventually, but for now Arizona needs to stand their ground.
The alternative is allowing a flood of illegal aliens and everything they are bringing with them into the country.
Joe Biden is failing to do his basic job as President.
And until he is willing to get serious about border security, then states like Arizona need to keep doing whatever it takes to keep America and Arizona safe.
