Joe Biden regularly blathers on about bringing people together.
But his incendiary rhetoric is posing a real threat to the safety of conservatives.
And after his dark “Soul of a Nation” speech calling many Republicans “extremists” who “threaten the very foundations of our republic,” things have gotten much worse.
Violence and threats are increasing
Many conservatives across the nation are facing serious threats of political violence that pose a real danger to their safety.
In Michigan, an 80-year-old woman was shot after a verbal altercation while she was canvassing for a right-to-life group.
The shooter claims that his “finger got caught” in his rifle, which accidentally went off as a bullet struck the elderly woman.
Meanwhile, Michigan’s Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer refuses to condemn the attack or discuss what happened, even after the assailant was criminally charged with felonious assault.
In Texas, two volunteers for Texas Governor Greg Abbott were assaulted as they canvassed a neighborhood in Houston.
The suspect chased the volunteers through the neighborhood and ripped the side-view mirrors off of their vehicle while attempting to pull them out of the car.
Not surprisingly, many GOP offices have been vandalized across the nation in just the month of September alone.
This includes the Larimer County Republican Party office in Colorado and the Ottawa County Republican Party office in Michigan.
In Seminole County Florida, a GOP office had the phrase “eat sh** fascists” graffitied on the building just shortly after Biden used the phrase “semi-fascists” to describe Trump supporters.
Even more disturbing was last week’s vandalism at a pregnancy center in Oakland County, Michigan.
The graffiti read, “if abortion is not safe neither are you,” which is without a doubt a direct threat to the safety of everyone inside.
This is the second time the building has been targeted this year.
A pro-abortion group called Jane’s Revenge is likely responsible, but Michigan authorities are still investigating the incidents.
The violence from the left is escalating
While some may not feel that graffiti and vandalism are a direct threat, they’re just an indication of more violent acts bubbling under the surface.
On September 18, a young man named Cayler Ellingson was killed by a 41-year-old man who intentionally struck him with his SUV.
Ellingson was just 18-years-old.
The man who hit him, Shannon Brandt, told a 911 dispatcher he thought Ellingson was in a “Republican extremist group” that was after him.
Authorities say there’s no evidence to back up that claim, and regardless, it doesn’t legitimize Brandt committing cold-blooded murder.
Is this just paranoia on Brandt’s part, or is this the type of crime that the Left tries to justify after their President ratchets up the violent rhetoric?
Kentucky Senator Rand Paul is speaking out against the latest barrage of political violence.
As a victim of political violence himself, Paul said that Biden “needs to realize that his vilification of his opponents is inflaming some of his supporters to violence.”
Since the Democrats champion pro-crime policies, it’s not surprising that their base thinks it’s perfectly fine to commit violent, dangerous acts against people they don’t agree with.
