Kamala Harris is blaming Republicans for something she insists isn’t a problem

Under President Joe Biden’s watch, Americans are suffering through a crisis at the U.S. southern border.

The President dumped the problem into the lap of his Vice President Kamala Harris.

And now Kamala Harris is blaming Republicans for something she insists isn’t a problem.

The crisis on the southern border

Since President Joe Biden took the oath of office and through October of this year, more than 5.5 million illegal aliens have crossed the U.S. southern borders — a crisis of epic proportions.

Of that, about 2.7 million illegally came to America since the start of 2022.

In October alone, 209,664 illegals were caught crossing the border – a 30% increase from October of 2021’s 159,113 apprehensions.

In Octobers 2019 and 2020 combined under former President Donald Trump, there were only a total of 104,000 apprehensions.

Based on publicly available Customs and Border Patrol data about 2.4 million of the illegals were either released by federal authorities or entered the country’s interior undetected.

Of that, 1.1 million were “gotaways,” who escaped capture at the border.

Border Patrol agents encountered 98 known or suspected terrorists in 2022 – up from 15 in President Biden’s first year in the Oval Office.

Compare that to just three in the final two-years of the Trump Presidency combined.

Migrant deaths at the southwest border have totaled 856 so far this year — the deadliest year on record.

And the amount of fentanyl seized has surpassed well over a billion lethal doses in 2022 – in fact in the last two months alone under Biden more fentanyl was seized than in all of 2019 under President Trump’s leadership.

Nothing to see here

But if you ask Vice President Kamala Harris – who the 46th President of the United States named “Border Czar” in 2021 – there’s “nothing to see here.”

V.P. Harris is continuing to insist the border isn’t broken.

“The border is secure, but we also have a broken immigration system, in particular, over the last four years before we came in, and it needs to be fixed,” Harris said to NBC’s Chuck Todd recently. “We have a secure border in that that is a priority for any nation. “

But Harris knows there is a large amount of unrest among American citizens about the crisis on the southern border – and she’s eager to shift blame.

“Sadly, what we have seen in particular, I am sad to say, from Republicans in Congress is an unwillingness to engage in any meaningful reform that could actually fix a lot of what we are witnessing,” Harris told NPR.

A solution to making the crisis even worse

And what are those “meaningful reforms” that Harris believes would fix the problems she claims don’t exist?

A pathway to citizenship.

That’s right, a free pass to U.S. citizenship will make the 20,000 migrants currently waiting just outside of El Paso for the Biden Administration to run out the clock on Title 42 protections – which were sent to expire Wednesday, until the Supreme Court granted a temporary extension – get in line, wait their turn, and immigrate here legally.

And amnesty for the estimated at least 15 million illegals currently in the United States – who cost Americans about $132 billion annually according to the Federation for American Immigration Reform – won’t in any way act as a magnet attracting more migrants to cross our border illegally in the future.

That’s it, the border is secure, and Republicans are the problem, just ask the Veep.
