Tim Walz loves telling those who disagree with the Left’s support for subjecting children to irreversible sex-change operations to “mind your own damn business.”
But throughout his time as Governor of Minnesota, he consistently proved to be a petty tyrant who wanted total control over the people of his state.
And Kamala Harris is kicking herself over this imprisoned grandmother’s hair-raising warning about Tim Walz.
“He will take your rights away”
The story of Minnesota resident Lisa Hanson, a mother to eight children and a grandmother to what will soon be 18 grandchildren, is not unlike those of most law-abiding Americans.
For over 30 years, she and her husband owned several small businesses, including Interchange Wine & Coffee Bistro in Albert Lea, which is roughly 90 miles south of Minneapolis.
But in March of 2020, she was forced to shut down her business after Tim Walz issued a statewide shutdown order for all businesses he deemed “nonessential.”
This included restaurants, bars, gyms, and hair salons.
Walz apparently deemed strip clubs and liquor stores to be “essential.”
For months, Hanson and her family fought to survive after their livelihood was taken by the Democrat Governor’s unilateral mandate.
With no end to Walz’s shutdown in sight by December of 2020, Hanson defiantly reopened her business.
But defying Walz’s shutdown order came at a steep price.
The Walz regime convicted Hanson for violating the shutdown order in December of 2021 and handed her the maximum sentence allowable by law, which was 90 days in jail and a $1,000 fine.
In a recent Fox News interview, Hanson warned Americans nationwide that if the Harris-Walz ticket is elected in November, then “what happened to me will happen to you.”
“This is the story that America needs to hear, that Tim Walz is not some cuddly, joyful coach, like all the things that the [mainstream media is] calling him,” Hanson told Fox News. “That is not who this man is. This man would like to take your rights away. He will take your rights away. Because what happened to me could have happened to anybody. What happened to me will happen to you.”
Hanson was ultimately imprisoned for 60 days by the Walz regime and missed Christmas, her wedding anniversary, and even the birth of a grandchild.
“My family has paid a dear price,” Hanson explained. “While I was in jail, I missed out on Christmas with my family, I missed out on my wedding anniversary, and I also missed out on the birth of one of my grandchildren. I can never have that time back. That time was stolen from me. My business was destroyed. My business is gone. After everything that happened, Tim Walz and [Minnesota Attorney General] Keith Ellison destroyed my business. They wrecked my life.”
The Harris-Walz plan for America
Hanson told Fox News that she’s met many others in Minnesota who faced a similar fate under Governor Walz, especially female small business owners.
“I’ve heard some people say that Tim Walz is a really nice guy – yeah, well, he’s not,” she stated. “Take my word for it. Through this whole process, I’ve gotten to know other people. Similar things have happened to them when they were trying to run their business and survive – mostly women, by the way. So Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison really like to go after women. They’re bullies.”
“They’re bullies,” Hanson continued. “And they like to go after women and torment and destroy women’s lives. This is what they have done in the state of Minnesota. So, let America know you do not want Tim Walz as Vice President. You do not want tyranny at this level. I have seen firsthand – we, the people of Minnesota, have seen what Tim Walz, the type of evil he orchestrates if he is elected as Vice President of this country. He, in lockstep with Harris, who is also evil, will perpetuate this same type of evil on the American people. We do not want that. So this is the truth about Tim Walz.”
Hanson went on to stress to Fox News that Walz simply wanted to make an example out of her for having the audacity to defy his orders.
She pointed out that there wasn’t a single case where someone got COVID because she opened her business.
“They employed all of their resources against We the People, just trying to run a company, serve a cup of coffee to a willing customer,” Hanson explained. “And they said, ‘nope, you can’t do that.’” And mind you, there was never an injury. There was never an infection of COVID-19, nor was there ever a death that occurred because I had my doors open and willing customers came in to patronize me.”
“What happened to me was no accident, and they absolutely wanted to make an example, right?” she added. “It was like literally living a nightmare.”
What the Walz regime did to Lisa Hanson and her family should have never happened in America.
But it’s just a snapshot of what every American will face should Kamala Harris and Tim Walz be elected in November.
