There have been rumors floating around that Kamala Harris doesn’t do her homework.
Even though her staff prepare briefing books for her on important issues, she apparently doesn’t take the time to read them.
That is why she makes mistakes, such as when she called North Korea a U.S. ally even though her staff told her it was South Korea.
She then reportedly blows up at the staff because she just said something idiotic, which is why so many have quit in frustration.
Kamala Harris is also famous for her word salad answers.
While some politicians get caught off guard with questions they are asked, candidates for high public office should be able to defend the key public policies they espouse.
Harris Promises to Spend $1.7 Trillion in First 100 Days
Kamala Harris unveiled her first set of policy ideas at a speech to 250 of the Democrat faithful in North Carolina.
She called this new spending and tax credits an investment.
The Daily Mail said that “Harris announced $6,000 payments for newborns and expanded Child Tax Credits, $25,000 down payments for some first-time homebuyers, relief from medical debt, and other measures for her first 100 days in office.”
The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget estimated that her package would add an extra $1.7 trillion dollars to the budget deficit.
Kamala Harris believes that this will not happen because she wants to put more taxes on rich people and corporations.
She also thinks this will not increase the budget deficit because people will be healthier and better educated.
Kamala Harris is quoted in the Daily Mail as saying that “the return on investment in terms of what that will do and what it will pay for will be tremendous. We’ve seen it when we did it in the first year of our administration, we reduced child poverty by over 50 per cent, so that’s a lot of the work.”
After she announced her new economic policies, Donald Trump started calling her “Comrade Kamala” in order to emphasize that this is the same type of socialist policies that have bankrupted other countries and created mass food shortages.
Even the media is starting to turn on Kamala Harris for making sweeping promises while providing little substance to show how she will make any of it work.
Kamala Harris claims that she will bring down food prices, but it was the Biden-Harris administration’s policies that made prices go up in the first place.
