The honeymoon for Kamala Harris’ campaign is quickly coming to an end.

One mistake she hoped would never see the light of day was just exposed.

And Kamala Harris wrote one check that created this nightmare for her campaign.

Kamala Harris’ tightrope act is coming to an end

Dating back to her days as San Francisco District Attorney, Vice President Kamala Harris spent her political career on the far-Left of the Democrat Party.

Now she’s trying to run away from her past after she became the Democrat Presidential nominee.

Her campaign began to put out brief statements that renounced the far-Left positions she supported in the Senate and during her failed 2020 Presidential campaign.

Harris is getting an Election Year political makeover in order to make her more tolerable to voters in the swing states that she needs to win the election.

During the frenzy after George Floyd’s death, she said she supported de-funding the police and claimed that putting more cops on the street was wrong.

The Harris campaign claims she no longer supports that insane position.

She’s walking back her support for banning fracking, mandatory gun buybacks, abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) government takeover of the healthcare system.

Harris donates to de-fund the police group

Harris has avoided interviews and the press to avoid questions about the wholesale change in her beliefs in an Election Year.

But her actions speak louder than words.

Harris and her husband, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, wrote checks to a left-wing legal group that fought to de-fund the police and put a sanctuary city law on the books in Washington, D.C.

The couple donated $1,000 to Legal Aid D.C., a nonprofit that provides legal services for low-income people, according to their tax records.

They also wrote the group a $1,000 check in 2021.

Legal Aid D.C. put out a statement during the Black Lives Matter riots that said the group “stands in solidarity with those speaking out, demonstrating, and demanding a country and society that will treat every one of its residents with dignity and respect.”

In an article about the debate over de-funding the police, Amanda Korber, a supervising attorney at Legal Aid D.C., told a local outlet that people were concerned about more police.

“As Legal Aid’s Amanda Korber noted in the article, we are concerned, especially given the ongoing protest movement, about any solution that involves more police and policing in DC public housing,” Legal Aid D.C. wrote on X.

The group backed the law that made Washington, D.C.’s sanctuary city status “permanent.”.

“It also restricts the city’s prisons from functioning as immigration detention centers and amends a loophole used by ICE and the U.S. Marshals to detain immigrants outside of D.C. Superior Court,” NBC4 Washington stated in 2020.

Harris is trying to claim that she’s tough on crime and immigration now that she’s running for President.

But her contributions to D.C. Legal Aid reveals what she really believes.
