Elon Musk is pulling on a thread at Twitter that will likely expose a lot of malfeasance by government actors.
Republicans are announcing more investigations into allegations of government collusion with Big Tech.
And White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre gave an astounding response to reporters asking about Elon Musk’s “Twitter files.”
Elon Musk exposes Biden administration wrongdoings in “Twitter files” revelations
It’s been just over a week since Elon Musk pulled the curtain aside at Twitter and showed the world just what was happening behind the scenes before he purchased the social media platform.
The GOP has already been fighting government collusion with Big Tech and their response to the “Twitter files” has been like adding gasoline to a fire.
The revelations implicate Joe Biden, his campaign, and the Department of Justice.
Evidence suggests that there was a coordinated effort to silence Americans to protect the President.
When the White House press corps pushed Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on the issue she deflected and refused to provide any feedback on the situation.
Karine Jean-Pierre stays quite and invokes Hatch Act to stop questions during press conference
She said that she “can’t speak to decisions made by the campaign from here” and claimed protection by the Hatch Act.
The Hatch Act however isn’t designed to “cover” Jean-Pierre and prevent her from speaking about issues regarding the President’s campaign.
According to the U.S. Office of Special Counsel it is designed to “protect federal employees from political coercion in the workplace.”
That would refer to a scenario where someone is shown preferential treatment over another based on their political party.
Jean-Pierre is simply trying to avoid getting into the middle of something that could end up in a very dangerous legal situation.
Jim Jordan says this is proof that “big tech, big media, big government” are withholding information
Republicans are concerned about how deep the corruption goes regarding Musk’s “Twitter files.”
Especially after it’s been revealed that former FBI General Counsel James Baker was working at Twitter and was allegedly involved in scrubbing the files before they were released.
Jim Jordan says that the evidence of Jim Baker withholding information from the public is very troubling.
“This just shows big tech, big media, big government are working together to keep information from we the people,” he said in a Fox News interview.
He cited “weekly briefings” that Big Tech companies were receiving from intelligence agencies following a “letter from 51 former intel officials that said [the Hunter Biden laptop] was a ‘Russian disinformation operation.’”
Jordan vows to “get into the FBI’s role” in the Twittergate
Jordan showed deep concern with Baker’s involvement at Twitter and said “Jim Baker is all over everything” comparing his role in disseminating the information to a “fox watching the hen house.”
It is definitely very troubling to see the relationship exposed between Big Tech and Big Government.
The “Twitter files” are just one example of direct evidence implicating the Biden administration in censoring the American people and violating the Constitution.
Jordan says that he is “committed to doing what the Republican members on the Judiciary Committee are committed to do” and that is to “get into the FBI’s role in all of this.”
After the start of the next Congress in January, things are sure to get interesting.
