White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is in the hot seat.
She let the cat out of the bag on one terrifying piece of the Biden agenda.
And Karine Jean-Pierre gave one shocking answer that left Democrats shaking their heads in disgust.
The country was rocked after the senseless murder of six students and teachers at a Christian school by a former transgender student.
President Joe Biden wasted no time politicizing the tragedy by using his bully pulpit to push for more gun control.
After the shooting, the President once again demanded that Congress pass a so-called assault weapons ban.
Biden is hellbent on trying to strip law-abiding gun owners of their Constitutional right to keep and bear arms.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre raised eyebrows at a press briefing when she was asked how far Biden would go to confiscate legal firearms.
“Does the President support not just banning the sale and the manufacture of semiautomatic weapons, but further than that, confiscation?” a reporter asked.
“Let me just be very clear, what we’re talking about,” Jean-Pierre replied. “AR-15s, this assault weapons ban, they are weapons of war and they should not be on the streets across the country and in our communities.”
The AR-15 is one of the most popular and widely-owned rifle platforms in America.
Jean-Pierre and Democrats falsely label it as a “weapon of war” because it resembles the military’s M-16.
The civilian AR-15 has never been used by any country in a war.
“As you know, we all know how the government works,” Jean-Pierre added. “There’s only so much that he can do, and so now it’s time for Congress to do the work. And he’s happy to sign once that happens, he’s happy to sign that legislation that says, ‘OK, we’re going to remove assault weapons. We’re going have an assault weapons ban.’”
The Left’s ultimate goal is an Australian-style mass confiscation of firearms from gun owners.
When Jean-Pierre was asked about confiscation of semiautomatic weapons, she did not deny that confiscation of firearms was on the table.
Instead, she said that Biden was “happy” to sign a bill that would “remove assault weapons.”
Democrats have usually tried to deny that mass gun confiscation is a possibility because of the political backlash.
But Jean-Pierre tipped the hand of the Biden regime about their ultimate goal.
The same reporter noted that some Republicans argue that they would be impossible to ban because there’s more than 25 million semi automatic rifles in circulation.
“That’s unacceptable,” Jean-Pierre snapped. “That’s our response. It’s unacceptable that Republicans are saying that there’s nothing that we can do. Our schools, our churches, our places of worship have now become deadly places for many Americans who have lost their lives. Just this past year.”
