White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre created a big problem for Vice President Kamala Harris’ Presidential campaign during a press briefing.
She told reporters that Kamala would be a continuation of Joe Biden’s Presidency.
“What I can speak to is the last three and a half years,” Jean-Pierre said. “We have less than six months now of this administration and how much the Vice President was a critical partner in getting the big pieces, historic pieces, done. The heavy lifting.”
“She’s going to lay out her vision,” Jean-Pierre continued. “But again, they’ve been aligned. You know? They’ve been aligned for the past three and a half years. There’s not been any daylight.”
A reporter asked Jean-Pierre if she thought that Kamala would go in a new direction as a Presidential candidate.
“She’s going to build. Build on the successes that they’ve had,” Jean-Pierre said.
Kamala Harris’ campaign is distancing herself from Biden
Kamala is being treated by Democrats and their media allies as a fresh new face on the political scene after she became the Presidential nominee.
She’s riding a wave of enthusiasm created by the media and pop culture that’s based on vibes instead of concrete policies.
The Left wants Kamala to be seen as the change candidate in the race and not just another four years of the Biden administration.
Her policy-free campaign is trying to channel former President Barack Obama’s meaningless “hope and change” vibes from the 2008 election.
The Kamala campaign is hoping that she can ride platitudes and energy all the way to the White House.
But Kamala has no substance.
This is the same candidate who became less popular as people got to know her.
Her campaign is keeping her out of unscripted situations and letting the media and pop culture do the heavy lifting.
Trump campaign national press secretary Karoline Leavitt thanked Jean-Pierre for admitting that Harris has been a part of all the failures under Biden.
“Today, the Biden White House confirmed what Kamala Harris refuses to admit: there is NO daylight between Kamala Harris and Joe Biden. Kamala owns the illegal immigration crisis that continues to rage on our southern border; and Kamala owns the inflation crisis that has made food, rent, and gas unaffordable. Electing Kamala would be like hiring the thief who robbed your house to put new locks on the door. Kamala created this mess – she cannot be trusted to clean it up,” Leavitt said.
If the Trump campaign can connect Kamala Harris to the Biden Presidency, then she will be in big trouble on Election Day.
