Adam Schiff thought leading virtually all of Democrats’ witch hunts against Donald Trump would make him into a left-wing star.
And for a while that strategy was working rather well for him.
But now left-wing radicals gave Adam Schiff a rude awakening after this major announcement blew up in his face.
Schiff looks to steal the spotlight
Throughout former President Donald Trump’s four years in office, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) was one of the most prominent Democrats in America.
He popped up on CNN, MSNBC, or one of the legacy networks virtually every single day for years to spew the Left’s latest talking points and narrative around whatever witch hunt they were waging against Trump at that moment in time.
Schiff even went so far as to use his position as House Intelligence Committee Chairman to claim that “classified information” he had access to, but never actually revealed publicly, proved all of Democrats’ claims against Trump, even though those claims were ultimately debunked.
It’s those actions on the House Intel Committee that put the Democrat Congressman back at the forefront of the news after Republicans took back the House Majority.
New Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) ultimately followed through with his promise to keep Schiff off the Intelligence Committee because of the lies he told while abusing his position.
And never one to let the spotlight go to waste, Rep. Schiff made the decision this past week to use the attention the media is giving his removal from the Committee into a campaign for the U.S. Senate seat held by 89-year-old Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), who has faced calls to retire from her own Party over questions about her fitness for the job.
As expected, Schiff couldn’t help but take a veiled shot at Trump in his announcement.
“The fight for our democracy and working families is part of the same struggle,” Schiff said in a statement. “Because if our democracy isn’t delivering for Americans, they’ll look for alternatives, like a dangerous demagogue who promises that he alone can fix it.”
But while the Congressman may think he can simply claim to be the Democrat who went after Trump the hardest and walk into the Senate, at least one group of left-wing radicals isn’t buying it.
A major wake up call
In a statement within hours of Schiff’s announcement, the Progressive Change Campaign Committee (PCCC) issued a statement blasting the Congressman for simply playing a Trump adversary on TV while he “undermined” the effort to hold the former President accountable.
“Adam Schiff plays the role of Trump antagonist on TV, but a recent book details how he stalled and undermined leaders trying to hold Trump accountable in Congress,” PCCC co-founder Adam Green said in a statement, according to Fox News. “And he never challenges corporations or the Democratic establishment.”
“When we should have gone big against Trump, Schiff said go small,” he continued. “When we should have gone fast, Schiff said go slow. And when bold leaders finally won consensus to pursue impeachment over Schiff’s objections, Schiff leapt on stage to take credit.”
Clearly, that’s quite the left-wing reality distortion of the impeachment efforts against Donald Trump and Rep. Adam Schiff’s role in them.
In fact, the only way there is even a shred of truth contained within that statement is if Schiff did balk at truly pulling the trigger on Trump simply because he knew everything he claimed to have was totally fabricated.
But as scary as it may be for the future of the country that this is the version of events many left-wing radicals truly believe, it’s even more scary for Adam Schiff and his future.
You see, the PCCC has already endorsed another Democrat Member of Congress for Senator Feinstein’s seat, and that’s Rep. Katie Porter (D-CA).
If Rep. Porter’s name sounds familiar, that’s because she is the Congresswoman who defended pedophiles during a recent Congressional hearing by claiming that the term “pedophile” itself somehow cruelly brands someone a criminal because of their “sexual orientation.”
Regardless of that ridiculous claim, it’s clear that Rep. Schiff’s Senate bid is in serious trouble when even he is attacked for not being enough of a left-wing radical.
He may have thought that his many TV appearances in which he hit Donald Trump with all sorts of the most ridiculous accusations imaginable would ingratiate him to left-wing radicals, but they wanted nothing less than Trump’s head.
And now, Adam Schiff’s entire political future could go up in smoke thanks to his fellow left-wing radicals.
