Leftist have been accusing conservatives of spreading conspiracies for decades.
Whenever a Democrat gets caught with their hand in the cookie jar, they immediately accuse everyone of trying to get them.
During COVID, people who wanted to know if the virus came from the Wuhan Lab were accused of disinformation.
The Left has been doing this since Marx told his followers to “accuse your enemy of what you are doing, as you are doing it to create confusion.”
But conspiracy theories have gotten so bad on the political Left that even the New York Times is calling them out.
The most amazing leftist conspiracy theory is that Donald Trump staged his assassination attempt even though it killed former fire chief Corey Comperatore and wounded two others.
Several elected Democrat officials from Tennessee have been posting and tweeting that Trump staged the event.

Dmitri Mehlhorn is the top political leader of Democrat mega donor Reid Hoffman.
Mehlhorn floated the idea to reporters that they should look into the idea that Trump staged the whole thing.
Mark “Luke Skywalker” Hammel has been sending his five million followers on X false claims that Trump is pushing for legislation to eliminate Social Security.
Even the Harris campaign sent out a carefully edited video of Trump at a rally that was designed to make him look as confused as Biden.
During the rally, Trump gave a shout out to a group that had come to Pennsylvania from North Carolina.
Harris edited the clip to make it look like Trump was confused about where he was.
In other words, the Left is gearing up for a full-scale disinformation program.

How much of an effect is this disinformation program having?
One poll showed that one third of Biden voters believe the assignation attempt was staged.
“Roughly 1 in 5 voters said they find it credible that the shooting was staged and not intended to kill Trump, including a third of Biden’s supporters,” Morning Consult wrote about its poll.
Democrats like to claim that they accept election results, but in 2004 many Democrats did not accept that Kerry had lost to Bush.
Hillary Clinton created the fake narrative that Russia stole the 2016 election.
Even the liberal media is losing it this year.
The AP reported an internet rumor that J.D. Vance had sex with a couch without bothering to fact check it.
There is no doubt that the Left is losing it this year.
