Not only has there been a flood of illegal immigration during the Biden-Harris Administration, but there has also been a spike in violent crime as well.
Many known criminals have been caught at the border trying to sneak into the country.
But liberal state officials are denying that these illegal aliens are committing this crime despite video evidence.
Apartment Complex Takeover
Liberal politicians want to claim that everyone who sneaks into the U.S. is a great person who just wants to make a better life for themselves.
They are ignoring heinous crimes like the rape and murder of Laken Riley, a 22-year-old nursing student who was attacked and killed by an illegal immigrant who slipped into the country during the Biden-Harris administration.
So-called “Sanctuary Cities” like New York City are seeing huge spikes in violent crime, including attacks on cops.
Now a gang of Venezuelans have allegedly taken over an apartment complex in Aurora, Colorado, but Governor Jared Polis is denying it despite video evidence.
He said it was imaginary, but Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman disagreed.
The New York Post reported that “Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman told Fox News on Thursday that ‘there are several buildings’ that have ‘fallen to these Venezuelan gangs’ in his city. “
To prove the point, a video was released showing how the gang was entering apartments while armed with handguns and rifles.
Aurora is a city just outside of the Sanctuary City of Denver and they are getting the spillover from the influx of non-citizens into Colorado.
The gangs are extorting money from U.S. Citizens and Venezuelans who live in the apartment complex.
Aurora police have created a special task force to crack down on the gang of armed thugs who are terrorizing residents.
Governor Polis in Denial
But what is infuriating is that Democrat Governor Jared Polis denies that this is happening.
Despite the video showing what is happening, his spokesman just said in the New York Post that “violent crime dropped in Aurora between 2022 and 2023.”
The apartment complex where this is happening is one that the Governor used to house Venezuelan refugees.
There are also U.S. citizens living in the complex who are being caught up in the crossfire.
Some of the special services the Governor has rolled out to the 40,000 illegal aliens are easy access to driver’s licenses, state welfare, and admission to schools.
Denver has taken in more illegal aliens per capita than any other city and it is spilling over into communities outside of the city limits.
The violent gangs are getting into gun battles and injuring and killing people in the area.
The investor group that owns the complex claims they have lost control of the building because of the organized gang.
Residents say the group steals from their local Walmart and has terrorized the whole complex.
But the Governor’s spokesman admitted in the New York Post that “it’s illegal to take over buildings in Colorado.”
He added that if Jurinsky has “knowledge” of such activity, then his office is “ready to assist” local law enforcement “in taking them back.”
The Governor of Colorado apparently has yet to see the video of the takeover and is still denying the reality of what his policies are doing to his own citizens.
