Despite being one of the least popular political figures today, Liz Cheney just won’t go away.
Now Cheney has gone beyond just attacking Trump and is siding with the Left in key Midterm races.
And Liz Cheney stabbed conservatives in the back again by endorsing this Democrat for U.S. Senate.
The Senate race in Ohio is one of the most important in the country.
RealClearPolitics average shows Republican J.D. Vance maintaining a slim 2.2 point lead over Democrat Tim Ryan.
And this race may well determine whether Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) keeps his job as majority leader next year.
Cheney is now siding with Democrats
With control of the U.S. Senate on the line, Liz Cheney is siding with the Left.
“I would not vote for J.D. Vance,” Liz Cheney told journalist Judy Woodruff at an event at Cleveland State University.
Woodruff then followed up by asking Cheney if she would vote for Ryan if she were an Ohio-registered voter and without hesitation Cheney quickly replied, “I would.”
Democrats maintaining or expanding their majority in the upper chamber could spell disaster for our country.
We already know they want to gut the filibuster, pack the Supreme Court, and rig future elections in their favor.
But Liz Cheney doesn’t care.
Is the Democrat Party the new home for Neocons?
Liz Cheney claims that her biggest gripe with Trump and MAGA Republicans is that they raised questions about the integrity of the 2020 election in certain states.
But the real reason for Liz Cheney’s disdain for Donald Trump is his America First foreign policy.
Trump was the first President in decades who didn’t start any new wars.
These days, it is the Democrat Party that is the pro-war party, which is why Liz Cheney is cozying up to them.
As we saw from when her father was Vice President, neoconservatives really don’t care about conservative issues like protecting the unborn, defending gun rights, and sensible economic policies.
All they care about is keeping the U.S. in a state of perpetual war and greasing the pockets of their defense contractor pals.
And America First Republicans are getting in their way.
Could her endorsement help Vance?
Fortunately, virtually no voter who would have any inclination to vote for Vance is going to be swayed by the Cheney endorsement.
In fact, it could even help motivate Vance supporters to turn out and vote for him.
Recently, Liz Cheney released an ad attacking America First Arizona Gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake.
As a result, Lake saw a boom in fundraising.
According to Lake, her website nearly crashed from receiving so much traffic after the Cheney ad dropped.
Lake even thanked Cheney for her anti-endorsement.
That just shows how much Liz Cheney is now despised by conservative Republicans.
Perhaps Vance will see a similarly much-needed boost now that Cheney is after him.
