It’s a familiar refrain to conservatives.
Elected officials double crossing the wishes of their voters.
And now Marjorie Taylor Greene suffered a massive impeachment betrayal by these eight Republicans.
Greene introduced Articles of Impeachment against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
Mayorkas is the architect of the Biden open borders agenda that allowed more illegal aliens to enter America than live in the population of all but 12 states.
Open borders allowed at least 150 individuals on the terror watch list to try and enter the country and no one knows how many terrorists crossed the border without detection.
And Mayorkas carrying out Biden’s open borders policies led to fentanyl flowing into the country and killing tens of thousands of Americans.
Greene brought her Articles of Impeachment against Mayorkas to the floor of the House of Representatives as a privileged resolution, meaning members would vote on it within 48 hours.
But eight Republicans – Ken Buck, Virginia Foxx, Patrick McHenry, Darrell Issa, Cliff Bentz, John Duarte, Mike Turner, and Tom McClintock joined with the Democrats to protect Mayorkas and table the Articles of Impeachment against him.
Greene responded in a post on social media warning that Americans were dying because Congress refused to hold Mayorkas and Biden accountable for the border crisis they created.

McClintock claimed Mayorkas opening the border to drugs, terrorists, and criminals was a mere policy dispute and thus not grounds for impeachment.
“The House made a mockery of impeachment twice during the last session of Congress. We must not allow the Left to become our teachers,” McClintock declared. “If these clear constitutional principles are not restored, now, that power will be just one election from being turned against the constitutionalists on the Supreme Court, or upon any future Republican administration.”
Conservatives continue to grow frustrated over the refusal of Congressional Republicans to do anything to stop Joe Biden’s border crisis.
RINOs like Mitch McConnell refuse to lift a finger in spending fights to force Joe Biden to accept real border security measures.
And now House Republicans couldn’t even take the simple step of holding Mayorkas accountable for his historic failure at the border.
