Millions of Americans rely on social media for their daily news.
This has forced many news networks to hire fresh young faces in an effort to attract more viewers.
And Megyn Kelly just lowered the boom on this up-and-coming CNN host.

CNN has completely overhauled its programming after years of declining viewership.
In just the last several years, CNN has parted ways with hosts Don Lemon, Poppy Harlow, and former CEO Chris Licht.
But CNN’s decline spans back for at least a couple of decades.
Top brass at CNN have attempted to bring new faces to the struggling network, most notably hiring Kaitlan Collins in 2017 and elevating her to White House correspondent in 2021.
As White House correspondent, Collins sparred with Trump on a regular basis, which made her a hero to Democrats and Never-Trumpers.
Collins now hosts her very own show on CNN called The Source, which airs daily at 9 P.M.
However, not everyone is impressed with Kaitlan Collins’ rise to fame, including former Fox News host Megyn Kelly.
On her podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show, Kelly dug into Collins by stating that “I will submit to the record, her biggest sin is not that she is biased, though she is. It’s that she’s boring. She’s extremely boring with no personality.”
“I have a pro tip for her: Smile. Try smiling. Try not to be in your delivery like such a cold-hearted b**** all the time, because it gives people nothing to bond to,” the former Fox News host added.
Collins has also come under fire for pretending to host a show that promotes balance and fairness even though her show almost exclusively promotes Democrat opinions and narratives.
While appearing on Bill Maher’s show last Friday, Collins told him that “I’m from Alabama, I’m from a very red state, I have a very conservative family, a lot of them who are Trump voters, they watch my show every night, and they know that they can trust me, that we call bulls*** on every side.”
Megyn Kelly responded to these claims by telling her listeners that this is “why alternative media have done so well, because people are sick of this s***. They can’t stand being force-fed this nonsense by these mainstream media outlets.”

As Megyn Kelly noted, many Americans have grown sick and tired of the nonsense that occurs on most mainstream media outlets.
As a result, these individuals have turned to podcasts and digital news sources instead of listening to programs on CNN or any of the network stations.
This has caused the Left to dump billions of dollars into programs that target these sorts of news outlets by falsely labeling them as “misinformation.”
