The Department of Justice has aggressively pursued a number of pro-life activists under the watch of Joe Biden and his Attorney General Merrick Garland.
Pro-life activists have been surveilled and even arrested for the most minor of reasons.
And Merrick Garland was furious after this one activist took matters into his own hands.
Joe Biden will have to answer for his abuse of the legal justice system
Since taking the oath of office, Joe Biden and his cronies have made it clear that they would not tolerate people who oppose their radical agenda, which is in direct contrast to his calls for unity in his inaugural address.
Pro-life activists in particular have met the scorn of Joe Biden’s Department of Justice.
Mark Houck is one such activist.
Houck was arrested by 25 heavily armed FBI agents in front of his children in his private residence in September of 2022.
According to the Department of Justice, Houck violated the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act after he allegedly got into an altercation with an abortion escort outside of an abortion clinic in October of 2021.
Although Houck was acquitted in January, he announced on Wednesday that he filed a lawsuit against the Justice Department seeking $1.1 million in damages.
The Graves Garrett LLC law firm, which filed the lawsuit on his behalf, wrote that this lawsuit “seeks to hold the DOJ and the FBI accountable for their investigative and law enforcement officers’ tortious conduct against him.”
“These government agents intentionally sought to assault Mr. Houck and deprive him of his Fourth Amendment rights by using excessive force to arrest him on non-violent charges when he had not threatened law enforcement, did not own a gun, and had offered to turn himself into authorities if indicted,” the law firm continued.
The Department of Justice has failed to speak out about this recently filed lawsuit and has been notably quiet about this incident since Houck’s groundbreaking acquittal earlier this year.
