Joe Biden had to do a double take.
Conservatives on the Supreme Court smacked down Joe Biden with assistance from an unexpected source.
And Nancy Pelosi just helped the Supreme Court hand Joe Biden this humiliating defeat.
The six Republican-appointed Justices struck down Joe Biden’s blatantly unconstitutional $400 billion student loan bailout scheme.
Biden tried to claim that the 2003 HEROES Act – which allowed the President to suspend student loans for military members deployed in the War on Terror or for Americans living in areas affected by terrorist attacks – granted him the authority to transfer $10,000 worth of student loan debt for individuals making up to $125,000 per year and $20,000 worth of debt for couples making up to $250,000 over to the taxpayers.
The Supreme Court was so offended by this preposterously illegal scheme that even Chief Justice John Roberts – who routinely votes with the Left – slapped down Biden with a scathing opinion.
“[T]he HEROES Act provides no authorization for the Secretary’s plan even when examined using the ordinary tools of statutory interpretation—let alone ‘clear congressional authorization’ for such a program,” Roberts declared.
Roberts was offended by the fact that Biden tried to essentially make himself king and seize the power of the purse from Congress.
“Today, we have concluded … that our precedent—old and new—requires that Congress speak clearly before a Department Secretary can unilaterally alter large sections of the American economy,” Roberts added.
Roberts used comments from former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi in 2021 to back up his opinion.
“People think that the President of the United States has the power for debt forgiveness,” Pelosi said in 2021. “He does not. He can postpone. He can delay. But he does not have that power. That has to be an act of Congress.”
SCOTUS cited Nancy Pelosi in their ruling against Biden’s Student Loan handout:

Joe Biden and the Democrats ended this term on a massive losing streak.
The conservative majority on the Supreme Court achieved the long sought after victory of ending affirmative action in college admissions.
Conservative Justices also protected the First Amendment right of free speech by ruling that the state of Colorado could not compel a Christian website designer to create a site for a homosexual wedding since it violated their religious beliefs.
And the Court restored the separation of powers and reigned in a rogue President by striking down Joe Biden’s illegal executive student loan bailout scheme.
